Özet
V ÖZET Hava kirliliğinin önem kazandığı günümüzde yakıt olarak kömür ve fuel-oil kullanılan kazanların doğalgaza dönüştürülmesi zorunluluk arzetmiştir. Bu çalışmada mevcut kazanların doğal gazlı sistemlere dönüşümü için gerekli yanma ve termik hesaplar için Fortran dilinde bilgisayar programı hazırlanmıştır. EMİR kod Programının çalışması ile mevcut kazanda yapılması gereken fiziki değişiklikler anlatılmış ve bir örnek uygulama yapılmıştır. Bilgisayar programı değişik sistemlere adapte olabilecek şekilde hazırlanmıştır. Sonuçta doğal gazla çalışan kazanlarda çevre kirliliği problemi ortadan kalktığı gibi kazan veriminin de iyileştiği görülmüştür.

VI ABSTRACT Nowadays, the air pollution is becoming increasingly important, one of main reasons is already to use the steam boilers in which coal and fuel oil are used as fuel. Since the use of the natural gas result in a considerable decrease the air pollution, conver ting the present steam boilers to those which are operaty with the natural gas is regarded as an immediate solition in this study. The conversion of the present steam boilers to those which are operating with it the natural gas was studied theoretically, the required calculations for the combustion and the thermal processes were comp leted and the final model was presented to the general use as a package which was developed in Fortran. In the package of EMİR, the physical nodifications required to the present steam boilers are explained and an example was added. The package is developed so that it can be run under any operating system or any computer class. Finally, it is found that the problem of the air pollution is decreased considerabbly using the steam boilers in which the natural gas is used and that the efficiency of the boilers is improved.
