Özet

Bu araştırmanın amacı, yazma sürecine dayalı öğretimin ilkokul 4. sınıf öğrencilerinin yazılı anlatım becerilerine etkisini incelemektir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Giresun ilinde bir ilkokulda dördüncü sınıfta okuyan toplam otuz öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Elde edilen verilerin toplanması, analizi ve yorumlanmasında nicel verilerin sağlanmasına imkân veren yarı deneysel yöntem kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın uygulama sürecinde çalışma grubu öğrencileri ile dört kez yazma süreçlerine dayalı uygulamalar yapılmıştır. Uygulamalar 6 hafta boyunca ikişer ders saatinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma grubundaki öğrencilerin uygulamaların başında, uygulama süresinde ve uygulama sonunda yazılı anlatım becerileri ilgili ölçme aracı kullanılarak belirlenmiştir. Araştırmanın sonunda çalışma grubundaki öğrencilerin ön test ve son test puanları arasında son test puanları lehine istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark olduğu belirlenmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen veriler nitel olarak da incelendiğinde öğrencilerin yazılı anlatım becerilerinde olumlu bir gelişme gösterdikleri görülmüştür. Bu sonuçlar doğrultusunda ilkokul öğrencilerinin yazılı anlatım becerilerinin olumlu yönde geliştirilmesi için yapılacak çalışmalara yönelik öneriler getirilmiştir

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of teaching based on the writing process on the writing skills of the 4th grade primary school students. The study group consisted of a total of 30 students studying at fourth grade at a primary school in Giresun. A quasi experimental design was used in collecting, analyzing and interpreting the data. During the study, studies based on the writing process were made four times with the students of the study group. Students participated in 2 lessons each week during the period of 6 weeks. A pre and post tests were implemented to the study group. By using the appropriate measuring tools, the writing skills of the students in the study group have been determined in the beginning of the study, during the study and the end of the study. The results showed that there was a statistically significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores of the students in the study group, in favor of the post test scores. The analysis quantitative data revealed that the students' positive improvement in their writing skills through weekly applications. In the light of these results, suggestions have been put forward in order for primary school student to improve their writing skills in a positive way.
