Özet
Bu çalışma, stoması olan bireylerin beden imajı (Bİ) algıları ve benlik saygı (BS)' larını incelemek amacıyla tanımlayıcı bir çalışma olarak planlanmıştır. Araştırma, Ekim 2013 ile Nisan 2014 tarihleri arasında Bursa ili Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastaneleri ve Üniversite Hastanelerinin cerrahi servisinde yatan stomalı hastaların beden imajı (Bİ) ve benlik saygısı (BS) üzerindeki etkisini değerlendirmek amacı ile yapılan bir araştırmadır. Araştırma kapsamına 24 kadın, 26 erkek olmak üzere toplamda 50 hasta alınmıştır. Bu araştırma 1 anket formu, Rosenberg BSÖ, BİÖ kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Sonuçlar %96'lık güvenilirlik aralığında, anlamlılık p>0,05 düzeyinde değerlendirilmiştir. Stoma, hastaların sosyal yaşamlarını, psikolojik ve fiziksel durumlarını olumsuz yönde etkilemektedir.

The body image(Bİ) perception and the selfesteem of the indiriduals who have stoma This work is planned to research (inspect) the body image (BI) perception and the self esteem (SE) of the individuals who have stoma. The research is made to evaluate the effects of the body image and the self esteem on stoma patients who are in-patient in surgical services of the Training and Research Hospitals and University Hospitals in Bursa. 50 patients of 24 female and 26 male are included in the research. This research is performed by using 1 survey form, Rosenborg Self Esteem Scale and the Body Image Scale. The results are evaluated at a % 96 confidence interval and p>0,05 significance level. Stoma effects the social lifes and the physical and the psychological conditions of the patients adversely.
