Özet
Sinema, teknik gelişmelere paralel bir şekilde ortaya çıkan bir“sanat”dalı olarak ifade edilmesine karşın, tarihi boyunca kullandığı bu teknik olanaklarla yetinmemiş ve daima yeni teknolojileri bünyesinde barındırmaya başlamıştır. Sinema seyircisiyle kurmuş olduğu izleme pratikleri de daima yetersiz kalmış, gelişen teknolojiyle birlikte sinemayı seyirciye, seyirciyi sinemaya daha çok yaklaştıracak olan farklı deneyimleri hayata geçirmiştir. Sinema ve seyirci yakınlaşması konusunda bugüne kadar hayata geçirilen deneyler sinema tarihi içinde önemli bir yer edinse de bu hiçbir zaman filmlerin öyküsü, oyuncusu ya da filmlerin renkli, siyah-beyaz, sessiz ya da sesli olmaları kadar ön planda tutulmamıştır. Sinema çoğunlukla filmlerin renkleri, sesleri ve auditorium gibi belirli izleme pratiklerinin egemenliğinde anılmıştır. Ancak teknik olanaklar geliştikçe birden fazla deneyimin iç içe geçtiği gözlenmeye başlanır. Bu nedenle bir yüzyılı deviren ve hala popülaritesini koruyan sinemanın artık tek bir deneyimin egemenliğinde tanımlanmasına olanak yoktur. Ayrıca, sinemanın günümüzdeki durumuna baktığımızda bu“sanat”ın sadece bu çağa özgü olduğuna ilişkin bir deneyim biçimi de yoktur. Çünkü yine sinema bağlamında düşünürsek bu çağ da tek bir deneyimle sınırlandırılamamaktadır. 21. yy'da karşımıza çıkan deneyim biçimlerinin, sinemanın ilk yıllarından itibaren varolduğunu görmek, 21. yy. sinemasını anlamak ve yeniden değerlendirmek için yararlı olacaktır. Ayrımsızlaşma konusu, sinemanın hem ilk yıllarında hem de günümüzde eski özelliklerin teknolojik bir çağda yeniden rağbet gördüğü“The Artist”ve“Hugo”filmleri bağlamında değerlendirilmektedir. Although, cinema can be implied as an“art”which appears in paralel with development of the techniques, it hasn't been satisfied with these technical facilities that it has exhibited since its history and it has always started to embrace new technologies in itself. It has always failed with the experience that it has displayed with its audience it has implemented various experiences which make cinema come closer to audience and the audience come closer to cinema with the development of technology. Even though the experiences that were displayed in cinema since today about the subject of getting the cinema and the audience come closer has taken a crucial place in the cinema history, this has never stood in the forefront as the plot, the actors and actresses of the film or the films being color, black - white , silent or sound. Cinema has generally been mentioned under the hegemony of certain experiences such as color, sound and auditorium of the films. On the other hand, it has been observed that multiple experiences were intermingled as the technical facilities have developed. Therefore, there is no possibility to describe cinema which has closed down a century and still preserves its popularity under the hegemony of a unique experience ever after. Moreover, as we have a look upon the condition of the cinema today, there is no experience form of this“art”that is peculiar to this era. Yet, if we think this on the basis of cinema, it can't have been qualified as a unique experience in this era. To know experience forms that we have encountered in the 21st century have existed since the first years of the cinema will be quite useful to understand and re-evaluate the 21st century cinema. The matter of non-discriminatory have been evaluated on the basis of the films“The Artist”and“Hugo”that have been popular again both in the first years of cinema and former technological features of an era today.
