SUMMARY The yuan.* 1964 is an important and difficult period of time. in the history of, the people living in the north Caucasia, leaving their home. nou.ntH.izi to migrate in man due. to both external factors and reasons arising from their internal structures. They migKated primarily to countries within the. bounda ries of. the. Ottoman Empire, of that period and especially to Anatolia. The. scattered -settling in Anatolia has remained the. -same, until now. Alto, a different culture ha* migrated to Anatolia together with this migration and it still exists in AnatolÂa, which id commonly known as“Circassian Culture.”on.“North Caucasian Culture”when we. do not differentiate between tribes changing according to theJji own social structures. This study which has the. purpose of. observing and making known almost all aspects of the. culture, in a general sense, is based on literature and also supported with f^acts acquired by field studies. Gen.en.al Information on North Caucassia which is the. cradle, of the. culture. observes the. period of old history until migration in a short, but precise manner. The ethymology of the name“Caucasia”and the geography o{) the place are also included. It has also comprised all aspects of culture, mythology, folk sons, musical instruments, folk dances, clothing, ornaments, local clothings, nourishment, social values, religion- tradition relation, social gatherings, wedding ceremonies, as they are conveyed originally in articles, legends, novels, stories and true stories and cards related with the subject found as a result of, scanning through literature were included as they are, therefore it became a collection o{ gatherings. The informa tion gathered from literature is important when we take into consideration the fact that they verified the facts determined by observations and interviews during field study. Furthermore, interviews with guests coming from North Caucasia, have made it possible to make a comparison between the subjects observed to the extent of the time and possibil.ity available and the cultural values present in the North Caucasia now. As a result, this study has observed the culture and the cultural factors existing since past times until now and which may change due to the condi tions prevailing in time and the cultural interactions. However, it observes only the main points since it had to be completed within a limited period of time.
