VII. SUMMARY This study has analysed artifacts dating from the period 3.000 to 2.000 B.C. These artifacts have been added to the collections of Çorum Museum through excavation, purchase and donation. Some of the findings of this study have been published before and others have not. Those that have not include some of the 112 metal artifacts from the period under analysis; 22 have been buplished before, and thus introduced to the scientific community, and 90 are being published here for the first time. According to the inventory of metal artifacts from 3.000 B.C. in the museum, the largest group consists of the ones found in the iskilip and Yenihayat villages were dug out informally, or rather“plundered”, and in the porcess damaged. Two large groups of the artifacts from 2.000 B.C. consist of the Alacahöyük findings and those purchased in Sungurlu according to the place of origin. The metal artifacts dated from 3.000 and 2.000 B.C. have been classified in six main groups. These groups are separated according to the following periods. Tha artifacts belonging to the first Bronze Age period, that is 2.300 to 2.100 B.C. Those belonging to the period dating from 2.000 B.C. Those that can be generally dated from the second half of the second millenium B.C. At the end of the study, all characteristics of most of the artifacts from 3.000 and 2.000 B.C. in the collections in the Çorum museum represent the from and characteristics of native Anatolian culture. 47
