Özet

ÖZEL DERSHANELERDE ÜNİVERSİTE SINAVINA HAZIRLANAN LİSE SON SINIF ÖĞRENCİLERİN PROFİLİ: ANKARA İLİ ÖRNEĞİ Bu araştırmada, özel dershanelerde üniversiteye giriş sınavına hazırlanan öğrencilerin (YGS-LYS) profili belirlenmiştir. Araştırmanın evrenini özel dershanelerde üniversite sınavlarına hazırlanan öğrenciler oluşturmaktadır.. Araştırmanın örneklemini Ankara ilinde yer alan farklı dershanelerde üniversiteye hazırlık kurslarına devam eden 301 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Veri toplama tekniği olarak anket kullanılmıştır. Uygulanan anket 4 ana bölümden ve 36 sorudan oluşmaktadır. Ulaşılan sonuçlar: 1) Özel dershanelerde üniversiteye giriş sınavlarına hazırlanan öğrencilerin % 78'inin ailesi orta ve alt gelir grubuna mensuptur. 2) Özel dershanelerde üniversiteye giriş sınavlarına hazırlanan öğrencilerin büyük çoğunluğu (%40.5) genel liselere devam eden öğrencilerdir. 3) Özel dershanelerde üniversiteye giriş sınavlarına hazırlanan öğrencilerin büyük çoğunluğu (%44.2) boş zamanlarını tv izleyerek değerlendirmektedir. 4) Özel dershanelerde üniversiteye giriş sınavına hazırlanan öğrencilerin büyük çoğunluğu (%40.6) ayda 1 kitap okumaktadır. 5) Özel dershanelerde üniversiteye giriş sınavına hazırlanan öğrencilerin % 58'lik kısmı ayda bir kez sinema tiyatro vb. etkinliklere katılmaktadır. 6) Sorunlarını büyük oranda (% 42) arkadaşları ile paylaşan öğrencilerin büyük çoğunluğunun evinde internet bağlantısı mevcuttur. 7) Öğrencilerin büyük çoğunluğu ikamet ettiği konut türünü kendi evleri olarak belirten öğrencilerin % 90'lık kısmı kendi odaları olduğunu belirtmişlerdir. 8) Araştırmaya katılan öğrencilerin annelerinin % 69'luk kısmı çalışmadığını, % 42'lik kısmı ilkokul mezunu olduğunu belirtmiştir. Babalarının ise çoğunluk itibarıyla (% 46) serbest meslek grubuna mensup oluğunu, eğitim durumu olarak ta % 32 üniversite, % 24 lise mezunu olduğunu belirtmişlerdir.

THE PROFILE OF THE STUDENTS PREPARED TO THE UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE EXAMS IN PRIVATE TEACHING INSTITUTIONS:ANKARA SAMPLE In this research, the profile of the students prepared to the university entrance exams in private teaching institutions is determined. The target population of the study consists of students prepared to university entrance exams in private teaching institutions in Ankara. 301 students prepared to the university entrance exam in different private teaching institutions located in Ankara constitutes to research sample. Screening model has been used in the study. The questionnaires have been applied as the data collection technique. The questionnaire applied consists of 4 major sections and 36 questions. The results: 1- 78 percentages of the students prepared to the university entrance exams in private teaching institutions belong to the middle and low income groups. 2- The vast majority of the students prepared to the university entrance exams in private teaching institutions are the students going on the general high schools. 3- The vast majority of the students prepared to the university entrance exams in private teaching institutions (%44.2) evaluate their spare times by watching TV. 4- The vast majority of these students (%40.6) read a book in a month. 5- %58 of these students attends to the activities like cinema, theatre once a month. 6- In the houses of most of the students sharing their problems to a large extent (% 42 ) internet connectivity is available. 7- The large majority of the students indicate the houses they dwell as their own houses and % 90 of these students say that they have their own rooms. 8- % 69 of the mothers of the students attending to the survey say that they do not work and %42 of them say that they are primary school graduate. They also say that most of the fathers (%46 ) are belong to self-employment group, %32 of them are university graduate and % 24 of them are high-school graduate.
