ÖZ BATI TOROSLAR'DA (GÜNEYBATI ANADOLU) MİYOSEN (AKİTANİYEN-LANGÎYEN) FORAMİNİFER TAKSONOMİSİ VE BİYOSTRATİGRAFİSİ ERK (TEYMUR), Serpil Yüksek Lisans Tezi, Jeoloji Mühendisliği Anabil im Dalı Tez Yöneticisi: Prof. Dr. Demir Altıner Şubat 1994, 289 Sayfa Bu çalışmanın amacı, Beydağları bölgesindeki Sinekçi formasyonunun (Batı Toroslar, Güneybatı Anadolu) Akitaniyen- Langiyen planktik ve bentik foraminifer taksonomisi ve biyostratigraf isinin oluşturulması, ve planktik ve bentik foraminifer zonlarımn deneşti ri İmesidi r. Çalışmada, Karabayır ölçülü stratigrafi kesitinde otuzyedi planktik foraminifer ve beş bentik foraminifer türünün tanımı ve revizyonu yapılmıştır. Globigerinanus OUDA cinsi ile Globigerina brazieri JENKINS, Globigerina euaoertura JENKINS, Globigerina nilotica VIOTTI ve MANSQUR, Globigerinanus sudri maturus OUDA, Globigerinanus sudri sudri OUDA, Globigerinanus multiaperturus OUDA, Globigerinanus bibul latus yeni tür, Globorotal ia acrostomaWEZEL, ve Miogypsinoides bantamensis TAN SIN HOK türleri ile Miogypsinoides bantamensis Menzil Zonu, Miogypsina mediterranea Aralık Zonu ve Praeorbul ina sicana Menzil Zonu Batı Toroslar'da ilk defa tanımlanmıştır. Bentik foraminiferlere göre, çalışılan aralıkta, Akitaniyen'de Miogypsinoides bantamensis Menzil Zonu ile Miogypsina gunteri Aralık Zonu, Burdigal iyen'de Miogypsinoides mediterranea Aralık Zonu; planktik foraminiferlere göre ise Akitaniyen-Burdigal iyen'de Globigerinoides primordius Aralık Zonu, Burdigal iyen'de Globigerinoides al tiaperturus Aralık Zonu, Praeorbul ina sicana Menzil Zonu, Langiyen'de Praeorbul ina glomerosa s. 1. Menzil Zonu ortaya konmuştur. Sinekçi formasyonunun en üstünde Praeorbul ina glomerosa s, 1. Menzil Zonu'nun varlığı ile Likya naplarının Miyosen çökelleri üzerine bindirme yaşı Erken Langiyen veya Erken Langiyen'den biraz daha genç olarak belirlenmiştir.

ABSTRACT MIOCENE (AQUITANIAN-LANGHIAN) FORAMINIFERAL TAXONOMY AND BIOSTRATIGRAPHY IN THE WESTERN TAURIDES, (SW ANATOLIA) ERK (TEYMUR), Serpil M. S. in Geological Engineering Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Demir ALTINER February 1994, 289 Pages This study concerns mainly of the Aquitanian- Langhian planktic and benthic foraminiferal taxonomy and biozonation of the Sinekçi formation from the Beydağları region (Western Taurides) and correlation of the planktic and benthic foraminiferal zones. Thirty seven planktic foraminiferal and five benthic foraminiferal species were identified, revised and illustrated from the Karabayir measured stratigraphic section. The genus Globigerinanus OUDA, species Globigerina brazieri JENKINS, Globigerina euapertura JENKINS, sudri Globigerina ni lotica VIOTTI and MANSOUR, Globigerinanus maturus OUDA, Globigerinanus sudri sudri OUDA, Globigerinanus mul tiaperturus OUDA, Globigerinanus "I ITbibul latus new sp., Globorotal ia ac rostoma WEZEL, and Miogypsinoides bantamensis TAN SIN HOK and the biozones Miogypsinoides bantamensis Range Zone, Miogypsina mediterranea Interval zone and Praeorbul ina sicana Range Zone were described for the first time in Western Taurides. According to the benthic foraminiferal association, the Miogypsinoides bantamensis Range Zone and Miogypsina gunteri Interval Zone in Aquitanian, Miogypsina mediterranea Interval Zone were recognized in Burdigalian age. Planktic foraminiferal biostratigraphic unit Globigerinoides primordius Interval Zone was determined in Aquitanian- Burdigalian while Globigerinoides altiaperturus Interval Zone and Praeorbul ina sicana Range Zone were established in Burdigalian age. The age of Praeorbul ina glomerosa s. 1. Range Zone is Langhian. The youngest biozone Praeorbul ina glomerosa s. 1. Range Zone indicates that the Lycian nappes were thrusted over the Miocene deposits during the Early Langhian or slightly younger times.
