Özet
V.OZET Bu araştırma ile Beyoğlu ilçesi'nin cadde, meydan ve yol ağaçlandırmalarının aktüel durumu saptanarak çözüm önerileri getirmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu amaçla Beyoğlu'nda tipik 4(dört) cadde ve 1(bir)meydan örnek alan seçilmiştir. Bunlar; Cumhuriyet Caddesi, Meclis-i Mebusan Caddesi, Piyale Paşa Bulvarı, Tariabaşı Bulvan ve Taksim Meydanı'dır. Seçilen örnek caddeler ve meydanda, önce mevcut ağaçları saptanmıştır. Daha sonra bu ağaçların çap, boy, tepe başlangıcı, yola uzaklığı ve dikim aralıktan ölçülmüş, aynca budanma durumlan ve yaralan tesbit edilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular Tür Seçimi“, Tesis Tekniği”ve“Bakım Tekniği”başlıklan altında açıklanmıştır. Bulgular önce kent içi ağaçlandırmalar prensipleri ışığında irdelenerek kullanılan türlerin yol ağaçlandırmalanna uygun olupolmadığı saptanmıştır. Daha sonra bunlann tesis ve bakım tekniklerine ilişkin veriler, caddeler ve meydan dikkate alınarak her birey için ayn ayn analiz edilmiştir. Bulgulara göre genelde doğru tür seçimi yapıldığı, ancak kullanılmaması gereken bazı türlerin de ağaçlandırmalarda yer aldığı görülmüştür. Buna karşılık türlerin tesis tekniğinde büyük hatalann yapıldığı, yapılan ölçümler sonucu belirlenmiştir. Bakımlarda ise genelde yeni dikilen ağaçlann sulanması, kısmi tamamlama ve budama uygulamaları dışında, gübreleme, yaralanın tedavisine ve koruma önlemlerine gerekli özenin gösterilmediği saptanmıştır. Bulgulann analizi ve değerlendirilmesinden sonra Beyoğlu'nda yoğun hava kirliliği ile yollanın ve meydanlanın aktüel durumlarına göre tür seçimi, tesis tekniği ve bakım tekniği açısından gerekli öneriler yapılmıştır. -96-

THE PROBLEMS AND THEIR SOLUTIONS OF THE PLANTATIONS OF THE MAIN STREETS, THE SOUARES AND THI ROADS IN BEYOĞLU SUMMARY In this study the actuel situation of the plantationsin the roads, the squares and the main streets have been examined and some suggestions were made for the solutions of the related problems. For this purpose four streets and a square were selected sample areas for the investigation. In Beyoğlu. These were Cumhuriyet Street, Meclis-i Mebusan Street, Piyale Paşa Boulevard, Tarlabaşı Boulevard and Taksim square. At first existed trees in the selected streets and in the square weredetermined. After wards diameters, heights, heght to live crown, distance to the road and between the trees were measured. In addition to these pruning style and wounds were determined. The results obtained were explained as The choise of the species“, ”Estas Cisehment Technic“, ”Maintenance Technics" titles. The results were evahiated according to the principles of the planting techniques of urban forestry in order to finnd the species suitubility for the road plantations. Later Data on the establishment and maintenance techniques were analysed for each individual by considering the streets and the square. According to the results although generally selection of species were correct there were unsuitable species in the sample areas too. On contrary according to the measurements it was found that some big fauls had been made in establishment technics. When we consider the maintenance, execpt the irrigation of new planted trees and replanting of certain areas and prumning, other maintenance, measures such as Fertiliation, wound treatments and protection of trees were neglected. After analysing and evaluating the results, according to the actual position of the roads and squars and dense air pollution, neccessery recommendations were made from the wiew point of the tree choice, plantation and meintenance techniques. -97-
