In this research, the characteristic properties of Ne30/1 combed yarns spun from the cotton fibres -which were grown up in the different regions of Turkey were studied. The cotton slivers were prepared under the identical conditions, which were supplied from several companies. The quality control parametres of the yarns used were compared with those of the cotton fibres which were obtained from the companies. The effects of yarn number, twist level, the number of thick/ fine regions, the number of neps and % elongation of the yarns were investigated and the regression analyses were carried out. - IV -
