Özet
Kongre turizmi, günümüzde döviz girdisini artıran, istihdam yaratıcı özellikleri ile ulusal ekonomiye katkıda bulunan, kültür ve ticaret alanlarındaki etkisi ile dünya barışının korunmasında büyük payı olan bir turizm sektörüdür. Ekonomik, sosyal, kültürel ve doğal çevre ile sürekli iletişim içinde çok yönlü bir faaliyet olan ve bünyesinde ulaşım, konaklama, yeme-içme, eğlence, alış-veriş ve seyahat organizasyonu gibi hizmetlerin tümünü içeren kongre turizmi, en önemli hizmet sektörleri arasındadır. Bu çalışmada böylesi öneme sahip olan kongre turizminin Kazakistan?daki durumu incelenmektedir. Çünkü Kazakistan da kongre turizmi, delegelerin ve kongrenin gerçekleştiği her bölge ve halkın kendilerini geliştirmeleri bakımından iyi bir fırsat olmakla birlikte, ülkenin ekonomisine, şehir ve bilime sağladığı katkılardan dolayı önemli sayılmaktadır.

Nowadays the convention and event tourism increases the entrance of foreign currency and contributes to the national economy with its important feature of employment generation. Moreover, this type of tourism with its effects on the sphere of culture and trade plays a significant role in preserving the world peace. The convention and event tourism, a type of tourism which is in continuous contact with economic, social, cultural and natural environments includes such indispensable sectors as food and beverage, entertainment, shopping, lodging and sight-seeing. In this respect, the aim of this study is to explore the conditions of convention and event tourism in Kazakhstan. The convention and event tourism presents a significant opportunity for Kazakh side to improve the conditions of the regions and their people. Furthermore, the role it plays in the improvement of state's economy, its' science makes the covention and event tourism reliable source of welfare and well-being.
