Özet
51 ÖZET PXGlu 38 hastanın 38 gözüne ve PAAG'lu 49 hastanın 49 gözüne trabekülektomi uygulandı. Her iki vaka gurubu preoperatif ve postoperatif bulguları yönünden karşılaştırıldı. Çalışma sonucunda, PXG'lu vakalarda, gonioskopide, tra- beküler pigmentasyonun daha yüksek olduğu, saptandı. PXG'lu vakalar medikal tedaviye dirençli olduklarından, GÎB'ları daha yüksek, görme alam kaybı daha fazla ve preoperatif takip süresi daha kısaydı. Trabekülektomi sonrası“basan”, PXG'lu vakalarda %86,9, PAAG'lu vakalarda ise %79,6 idi. Postoperatif komplikasyonlar yönünden de her iki gurup arasında önemli bir fark yoktu.

52 SUMMARY Trabeculectomy operations were performed on the 38 eyes of the 38 PXG patients and on the 49 eyes of the 49 POAG patients. A comparison was made on the preoperative and postoperative properties of both of the groups. As a result of our study, a higher degree of trabecular pigmen tation was observed, in the gonioscopic examination of the PXG pati ents. As the PXG patients were more resistant to medical therapy, the intraocular pressure levels were higher, the visual field losses were to a higher degree, and the preoperative follow-up periods were shorter when compared with POAG patients. The success rate of the trabeculectomy operations were, %86,9'in the PXG cases and %79,6 in the POAG cases. The difference, between the two groups, in the postoperative complications was not important.
