Özet

Bu tez çalışması ile genellikle dış satıma yönelik olan Türk Yat Üretim Sektörü'nde gizli bir alt sektör olarak yer alan yat mobilyası üretimi yapısal olarak incelenmiştir. Yat mobilyası üretiminin gizli olarak nitelendirilmesi, mobilya üretiminin %75 oranında tersanelerin kendi tesislerinde üretiliyor olmasından ve buradaki bütün istatistiksel verilerin gemi inşa sanayine ait görünmesinden kaynaklanmaktadır.Yat mobilyası ile ilgili kaynakların yetersizliği, özellikle sektörel çalışmanın olmaması konuya yönelmede önemli bir faktör olmuştur. Çalışmanın genel kısmında yat ve mobilya hakkında genel ve sektörel bilgiler verilmiştir.Türkiye'de toplam 366 adet üretici koduna sahip yat - tekne imalatçısı bulunmaktadır. Bunlardan 117'si (%32) Marmara Bölgesi'ndedir. Marmara Bölgesi olarak sınırlanan araştırma evreni içinde toplam 61 firma belirlenmiştir. Bu firmalar yat mobilyasını kendisi üreten tersane ve tersanelerin taşeronu olarak üretim yapan işletmelerdir. Bu firmaların 57'siyle yüz yüze yöntemi ile mevcut durum anketi ve 20'siyle GZFT anket çalışması gerçekleştirilmiştir. Elde edilen nicel ve nitel veriler SPSS programı aracılığıyla istatistiksel analizlere tabi tutulmuş ve EXCEL ortamında histogram, pasta grafik ve tablolarla değerlendirilmiştir.Bu çalışma ile dünyada giderek artan dikey yapılanmanın Marmara Bölgesi Yat Mobilyası Üretim Sektörü'ndeki %5'lik varlığı, işletmelerin %60'ının düşük sermayeli, %86'sının küçük, %14'ünün orta ölçekli olduğu ve büyük ölçekli işletmenin olmadığı, işletmelerin %79'unun sipariş tipi üretim yaptığı, işletmelerin %81'inde işçi sağlığı ve iş güvenliği kurallarına uymada keyfi davranıldığı, işletmelerde CNC tezgâh varlığının %23 olduğu ve Ar - Ge faaliyetinin genel olarak yapılmadığı, işletmelerin belgelendirme anlamında zayıf olduğu ortaya konulmuştur. Bütün bunlara rağmen Türk Yat Üretim Sektörü 2011 yılında 24 m. ve üzeri yat boyu toplamında dünyada 3. sırada yer almıştır. Buna paralel olarak yat mobilyası üretimi de gelişim göstermiştir.Araştırmada elde edilen sonuçlar ışığında; Türk Yat Mobilyası Üretim Sektörü'nün giderek güçlenen Çin ve Tayvan gibi Asya ülkeleri ile rekabet etmesini sağlayabilecek, gelişimine ve sorunlarının giderilmesine yönelik öneriler sunulmuştur.

In this study, yacht production has been structurally examined that is located as a hidden sub-sector inside of the Turkish yacht manufacturing sector which is in general export oriented. Considering yacht furniture production as confidential due to %75 of the furniture production is being produced in shipyards? own facilities and where all the statistical data appear on the shipbuilding industry.Insufficiency of literature about yacht furniture, especially lack of sectoral study has been an important factor to head towards this subject. In general part of this study, general and sectoral information has been given about yacht and furniture.There were total of 366 yacht - boat manufacturers in Turkey that have manufacturer code. 117 of them were in Marmara region. Total of 61 firms were identified for population of this study bounded by Marmara region. These firms were the producer of yacht furniture in their own shipyards' facilities or producer as a subcontractor of the shipyards. The current situation survey has been carried out with 57 of them by the method of face to face and a SWOT analysis has been carried out with 20 of them. Quantitative and qualitative data obtained from these surveys were subjected to statistical analysis using SPSS and were evaluated with histograms, pie charts and tables by using Excel.With this study, followings were determined; 5% presence of the vertical fragmentation or specialization inside of the yacht production sector in Marmara region that is globally increases, 60% of business enterprises in low-capital, 86% of small and 14% of medium sized and there were no large-scale business enterprises, 79% of business enterprises manufacture with order type of production, 81% of business enterprises treated arbitrarily to comply with occupational health and safety regulations, 23% of business enterprises had CNC workbench and in general there was no research and development activity, enterprises were weak in terms of certification. Despite all this, Turkish yacht manufacturing sector globally was the 3rd. in 2011 about total length of yacht that is 24 meters and above. In parallel to this, yacht furniture production has developed too.Using results obtained from this study; recommendations have been submitted, to be able to provide competitiveness with Asian countries such as China and Taiwan that are increasingly stronger in the sector, to development and intended for elimination of the problems.
