Özet
Osmanlı Tarihi'ni araştırmak isteyen her araştırmacının başvuracağı en önemli kaynaklardan biri Şer'iyye Sicileri'dir. Şer'iyye Sicillerinde devrin sosyal, siyasal, idari, iktisadi yapısının aydınlatılması için önemli veriler bulunmaktadır. Osmanlı şehirleri içerisinde İstanbul'dan sonra en fazla Şer'iyye Sicili bulunan şehir Bursa'dır. Araştırma konumuz olan B-221 no'lu Şeriyye Sicili de Bursa'ya aittir.B-221 no'lu defter ışığında 1783-1784 yıllarına ait Bursa'nın sosyal, siyasal, idari, iktisadi yapısını, araştırma eserlerden de faydalanarak incelemeye çalıştık. Tez; giriş, defterde geçen konulardan oluşan dört bölüm, metnin transkripsiyonundan oluşmaktadır. Çalışmaya defterin transkripsiyonu yapılarak başlandı. Daha sonra belgelerin özetleri çıkarılarak anlatılmak istenen meseleler anlaşılır hale getirildi. Giriş bölümünde Bursa tarihi, mahkemelerin işleyişi ve mahkeme defterleri hakkında kısa bilgiler verilmiştir.Birinci bölümde, B-221 no'lu defter tanıtılarak belgelerin özetleri, çeşitleri, konu indeksi ve belgelerde geçen isimler indeksine yer verilmiştir.İkinci bölümde, idari bilgilere yer verilerek eyalet, sancak, kaza, köy, mahalle ve kamu görevlileri indeksleri oluşturulmuştur. Bunların yanında defterde yer alan kamu görevlilerinin tayinlerine de değinilmiştir. Böylece; Bursa örneğinden hareketle Osmanlı idari yapısı anlaşılmaya çalışılmıştır.Üçüncü bölümde iktisadi bilgilere değinilmiştir. Defterde geçen mukataalar, vergiler, ayanlar, ev, arazi, dükkan, eşya, bahçe fiyatları ve esnaflar hakkında bilgiler yer almaktadır.Dördüncü bölümde ise, sosyal olaylar ele alınmıştır. Mehir ve nafaka ücretleri, insanlar arasında anlaşmazlıklara neden olan davalar ile dini ve sosyal binalar defterdeki bilgiler ekseninde incelenmiştir.Bölümlerdeki değerlendirme esnasında yer yer araştırma eserlerine de başvurulmuştur.

The Court Reports are the one of the most important source for every researcher, wants to search the Ottoman History. In the Court Reports, there are very important data for the illumination of the social, political, administration, and economic structure of the age. Among the Ottoman cities, Bursa City?s Court Reports are more than the Court Reports of Istanbul. The research subject the B-221 Court Report belongs to Bursa city.In this thesis, with the help of the B-221 Court Report, the social, political, administration, and economic structure of the Bursa city is investigated by the help of research works. This thesis consists of introduction, four chapter about the social, political, administration, and economic structure of the City and the translation (transcription) of the text. The study has started by translation of the text. Later, by summarizing the documents the problems which are to be explained are made comprehensible. In the Introduction, brief information is given regarding the history of Bursa city, operation of the courts and court notebooks.The summary, kinds, subject indexes of the documents and the names used in these documents are given place in the first chapter, by introducing the court notebook B-221.In the second chapter, the state, province, county, village, district and public servants lists are created by given place administration data. Thus, by help of Bursa example, the Administrative structure of the Ottoman is strived to be understand.In the thırd chapter, economical information mentioned. There are information about taxes, the prices of house, land, shop, furniter, garden and tradesman mentioned in the text .In the fourth chapter, social events mentioned. Alimony, lawsuit caused conflict between people with religious and social buildings examined according to information in the notebook.
