Özet
ÖZET“Gecekondulunun Yeni Tüketim Alışkanlıkları ve Sosyo- Ekonomik Bir Çözümleme”başlığını taşıyan bu çalışma, gecekondularda yaşayan insanımızın yaşam tarzındaki değişimi saptamayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu amaca bağlı olarak gecekondular ve gecekonduluların sorunlarının çözümünü ışık tutmak üzere bir takım öneriler de sunulmaktadır. Çalışma üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci Bölümde genel bir bakış ile gecekonduyu ortaya çıkaran nedenler ele alınarak Dünya ve Türkiye ölçeğinde konu incelenmeye çalışılmış devamında da gecekondulaşmaya ilişkin kavramlar, Türkiye'de gecekondulaşma olgusu ve gecekondulunun ekonomik faaliyetleri anlatılmıştır. İkinci Bölümde, çalışmanın esasını oluşturan alan araştırmasından elde edilen bulgular incelenmiştir. Hane reislerine yönetilen anket formundaki sorulara verilen cevaplar tek tek ele alınarak geniş bir değerlendirme yapılmış ve gecekondu sorunun asıl unsuru olan gecekonduluların problem hakkındaki olumlu veya olumsuz görüşleri saptanmıştır. Üçüncü Bölümde ise, İkinci Bölümde elde edilen verilerden yararlanarak bir sonuca gidilmeye çalışılmış ve sorunların çüzümüne ışık tutacağı düşünülen bir dizi önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

ii SUMMARY The purpose of this study which is named is as“New Consumption Habits of the Squatter and A Socio-Economic Analyis”is to examine the changes in the standard of living of our people lived in the squatters' houses. Some recommendations are introduced to illuminate the problems of the squatters' houses and squatters in accordance with this purpose. Our study consist of three sections. In the first section, with a general world view, by assessing the factors caused the squatters' house, the topic was reviewed in the world and Turkey scale. Thereafter, the concepts which are related to the squatization, the reality of squatization and the economic activities of the squatter in Turkey were explained. In the second section, the findings obtained from the field investigations which is the main part of our resaarch was examined. Given the answers to the questions directed to the owner of the squatters' house in the public survey were detected one by one and the detailed evaluation was made. As a result, the positive and negative views about the problem of the squatters which is the basic reason of the squatters' houses were expressed. In the third section, by benefiting from the results in the second section, the latest result were reached and the number of recommendations were also suggested to illuminate the solution of the problems.
