Özet
Belâgat ve Retorik, güzel ve etkili sözü konu alan ilmin birbirini tamamlayan iki kavramıdır. İnsanoğlu, ilk insan ve peygamber Hz. Adem'den itibaren meramını güzel bir biçimde ifade etmeye çalışmıştır. Araplar, İslâm öncesi devirde hitâbet ve belâgat sanatındaki yetenekleriyle temayüz etmiş bir milletti. Arap dili, Kur'an ile belâgatta zirveye ulaşmıştır. ?Arap Dili Belâgatı ve Retorik Açısından Hz. Muhammed (s. a. s.)`in Hutbeleri? adlı bu tez çalışmamızda Kur'an vahyinin muhatabı olan Hz. Muhammed (s.a.s.)'in hatip, dinleyici ve konu yönlerinden genel söz ve üslup özellikleri ve iki adet hutbesi örneğinde hutbelerinin retorik ve belâgat açısından taşıdığı değer incelenmeye çalışıldı.

Eloquence and rhetoric are two complementary concepts of art of elocution that which include beautiful and efficient expression. Mankind has tried to Express concordantly their plight since Adam, the first man and the prophet. Arabs have been a nation that have ability in the art of oratory and rhetoric since the pre-Islamic period. In this period, the Arabic language reached its peak with Qur'an. This thesis has two important targets. The first target is to examine topic and style features of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)?s statements from the viewpoints of spokesman, listener and subject. The other target is to emphasise the value of of two sermons of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), also object of Qur?an revelation, by examining them from the aspects of eloquence and rhetoric.
