Özet
Bu çalısmada tedarik zinciri yönetimi , tedarik zinciri bilesenleri, tedarikçiperformans degerlendirme süreçleri, tedarikçi sayısı azaltma süreçleri, bu süreçlerinsonuçları, otomotiv sektöründe yapılan tedarikçi performansı degerlendirme vetedarikçi sayısı azaltma çalısmaları anlatılmıstır.Günümüz kosullarında gelisen rekabet kosulları firmaların sistem girdilerini dahaçok kontrol almaya zorlamıstır. Bu sebepten ötürü firmalar tedarikçilerin daha iyiyönetebilmek ve kontrol altında tutabilmek için tedarikçilerin performanslarınıdegerlendirmeye baslamıslardır. Bu degerlendirmelerin tedarik zinciri kararlarınaetkisi artmaktadır. Bundan dolayı tedarikçiler performanslarını yüksek tutmak vegelistirmek için çalısmaktadır. Tüm sektörlerde tedarikçi performansı degerlendirmeönemli bir süreç haline gelmistir.Tedarikçi sayısı azaltma süreci son yıllarda özellikle ana sanayiler tarafındankullanılan bir süreçtir. Tedarik zincirinde daha az sayıda tedarikçi ile etkin bir sekildeçalısılmak istenmektedir. Aynı zamanda e-satınalma yöntemleri maliyet indirimlerive tedarikçi sayılarının azaltılmasında kullanılan etkin bir yöntemdir. Tedarikçisayısının azaltılmasında kaynak atama ile tedarikçiler arasında ürünerin dagılımıyapılmakta ve bazı tedarikçiler tedarikçi parkında çıkarılmaktadır.Bu çalısmanın ilk bölümünde tedarikçi zincirinin tanımı ve temel özellikleri, ikincibölümünde tedarik zinciri yönetimi, fonksiyonları, avantaj ve dezavantajları, üçüncübölümde otomotiv sektörü ve ana sanayi-yan sanayi iliskileri,fırsatlar,dördüncübölümde tedarikçi performans degerlendirme süreçleri,tedarikçi performansı ölçümsistemleri,besinci bölümde tedarikçi sayısı azaltma stratejileri,etkileri,riskleri,altıncıve yedinci bölümlerde otomotiv sektöründe tedarikçi performansı degerlendirme vetedarikçi sayısı azaltma süreç uygulamaları anlatılmıstır.Sonuç bölümünde tedarikçi performansı degerlendirme ve tedarikçi sayısı azaltmasüreçlerin sisteme etkisi, önemi ve getirecegi faydalar anlatılmıstır.

In this study, supplier chain management, supply chain components, supplierperformance evaluation processes, supplier reduction program processes, the resultsof these processes, the supplier performance evaluation and supplier reductionapplications in the automotive sector are explained.Nowadays the improving compatitiveness conditions are forcing the firms to controlthe system inputs. Because of this reason firms start evaluating the supplierperformances to manage the suppliers better and to take under control the suppliers.The affects of the evaluations to the supply chain decisions are increasing. Becauseof this reason suppliers are working harder to improve their performances. Thesupplier evaluation process has became an important process in all sectors.Supplier reduction process are especially used by the orginal equipmentmanufacturers in recent years. In the supply chain working with few suppliers withan effectiveness are required. On the other hand e-procurement methods are aneffective method that are especially used in the supplier and cost reductions. Insupplier reductions some of the suppliers are eliminated from the supplier parks bysourcing and the distribution of the parts are done among the suppliers.In the first part of the study the description of the supply chain and basic features ofthe supply chain are explained, in the second part supply chain management,functions, advantages and disadvantages are mentioned, in the third part automotivesector and the relationship between orginal equipment manufacturers and suppliersare mentioned, in the fourth part the supplier performance evaluation processes,performance evaluation systems are mentioned, in the fifth part the strategies ofsupplier reductions, affects and riscs are mentioned, in the last parts the applicationsof supplier performance evaluation and supplier reduction in the automotive sectorare metioned.The affects and importances of the supplier performance evaluation and supplierreduction processes to the systems, the benefits of these are mentioned in theconclusion.
