Özet
Bu araştırma, felsefi düşüncenin kavramlarından biri olan hermeneutiğin ele alınış tarzı ve Gadamer'in felsefi düşüncesinde hermeneutik anlayışın yeri üzerine hazırlanmıştır. Heidegger ve Gadamer'e gelinciye kadar bir yöntem olarak ele alınan hermeneutik, bu filozoflarla birlikte bir felsefeye dönüşmüştür.İlk olarak giriş bölümünde, hermeneutiğin terim olarak ne anlam ifade ettiği ve bu kavramın tarihsel süreç içerisinde hangi anlamlarda kullanıldığı anlatılmaya çalışılmıştır. Birinci bölümde hermeneutiğin tarihsel süreç içerisindeki gelişimi ele alınmıştır. Bu bağlamda tarihi dönemlerdeki hermeneutik çalışmalara değinilmiş, daha sonra on yedinci yüzyıl itibariyle hermeneutik kuramcıların düşüncelerine yer verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde ise Dilthey ve Heidegger ele alınmıştır. Bu düşünürler, hermeneutiğin evrimsel gelişiminde ve Gadamer'in hermeneutik görüşünde bir dönüm noktasını oluşturmuşlardır.Son bölüm olan üçüncü bölümde ise, Gadamer'in hermeneutik görüşü ele alınmıştır. Bu bölümde filozofun düşünsel gelişimi anlatılmaya çalışılmıştır. Gadamer'in hermeneutik görüşlerini açıklayabilmek için öncelikle ele aldığı bazı kavramların açımlanması yapılarak, bu bölüm genişletilmiştir. En son olarak da, Gadamer ile Habermas tartışmalarına yer verilmiştir. Bu bölüm, hem Gadamer'in hem de Habermas'ın hermeneutik görüşlerinin bir ölçüde özeti olarak da görülebilir.

This study is based on handling of ?hermeneutic? which is a concept of philosophical thought and the place of ?hermeneutic? in Gadamer?s philosophical thought. Before Heidegger and Gadamer hermeneutic is taken as a method with these philosophers it turned into a philosophy.In the first part, ?hermeneutic?, as a philosophical term, is attempted to defined. Moreover, it is tried to explain that the usage and the meanings of this concept during historical process. Firstly, the development of hermeneutic throughout history is handled. On this context, the hermeneutic studies throughout historical periods is examined. Then the studies of the theoricians of hermeneutic during seventeenth century is expressed. Secondly, Dilthey and Heidegger?s thought is handled. These philosophers have a important effect on the evolution of hermeneutic and Gadamer?s hermeneutic conception.Finally, Gadamer?s hermeneutic conception is examined. In this part, the philosophical development of Gadamer is explained. In order to explain Gadamer?s hermeneutic, some other concepts, which is handled by Gadamer, is defined. Then the discussion between Gadamer and Hebermas is mentioned. This part can be seen as a summary of hermeneutic thought of both.
