Özet
Ekoloji, canlıların birbirleriyle ve maddi çevreleriyle olan çok yönlü ilişkilerini inceleyen; en uygun çevresel koşullar altında yaşayabilmeleri için araştırmalar yürüten bilim dalıdır. Var olan her şey birbirini etkilemekte ve birbirinden etkilenmektedir. Bu etkileşimin sağlıklı olması, ekolojik dengenin bozulmadan devam etmesini sağlamaktadır. Bu çalışmada, canlı-cansız tüm varlıklar için vazgeçilmez olan çevrenin insanla olan ilişkisi özellikle dini boyutuyla ortaya konmuştur. Ekolojik dengenin dinler açısından değerlendirilmesi; insanların tabiattaki nesnelere ve tabiat olaylarına kutsallık atfetmeleri; tabiatın insanın biyolojik, psikolojik ve toplumsal sağlığına etkileri bu ilişkiyi açıklamak amacıyla ele alınan konulardır.

Ecology is a scientific branch that examines thr multi relationships of the living beings with each other and their physical enviroment. Also, it is a branch that makes researches for these living beings to ensure them a life effect and influence each other. The fact that this interaction being healthy ensures the continutty of ecological balance. In this study, the relationship between the all creatures and the physical environment is particularly considered in terms of religional dimension. These are the subjects that describes the relationship: that evaluation of ecological balance in terms of religions, that people ascribe sacredness to the objects in the nature and natural events, the effects of the nature in terms of psychological, biological and social health of human beings
