Özet
İslâm dininin en önemli esaslarından biri olan zekât ibadeti, Hz. Peygamber zamanında kurum haline getirilmiş ve bu kurum organizesi kamu otoritesinin yetkisine havale edilmiş.Hz. Peygamber döneminde zekât mallarının toplanma zamanı belirlenmiş, düzenli bir şekilde toplanması için görevliler atanmış, toplanan zekâtlar kayıt altına alınmış ve Kur'ân-ı Kerîm'de belirtilen yerlere dağıtılmıştır. Zekât müessesesinin işlevselliğini yerine getiren en önemli organ ise zekât memurları olmuştur. İslâm'ın yayıldığı coğrafyalara gönderilen memurlar görevlerine lâyıkıyla îfâ etmişlerdir.Zekât Müessesesi, sonuç olarak Hz. Peygamber döneminde inşaâ edilmiş, kamu otoritesi tarafından yönetilmiştir. Bu kurum tam anlamıyla işlerlik kazandığı için toplumdaki fakirlik problemine çare bulunmuş ve insanların sıkıntıları büyük oranda çözülmüştür.

The zakat worship that is one of the most important principles of Islam became an organization at time of Our Prophet and organization of this institution has been transferred to public authority.Time for gathering zakat property has been determined at time of Prophet and officials have been assigned to gather them regularly, gathered zakat has been recarded and they have been distributed stated places in the Quran the most important organ that implements functionality of zakat institution became the zakat officials. The zakat officials performed their duties in due form in the geography where Islam spread.Consequently, zakat institution hasbeen built at time of Prophet and has been managed by public authority. This institution became functional properly so poverty problem in the society has been solved and problems of the people have been resolved greatly.
