SUMMARY The purpose of this study is to investigate Bodrum1 s Traditional Architecture and it's cultural heritage and today's interpretatins and applications of interior elements, PART I In this part general information about Bodrum is being given. It's history, geography, climate, economical structure and historical monuments is being explained. The tourism which economically influenced the social perspective and the way of living since '70's was comperatively showed in a period of 60 years. (40 years ago and 20 year after the beginning. ; PART II This secand part is a research of the Traditional Architecture of Bodrum. The city is seperateâ in three different regions; 1. Eastern part : KUMBAHÇE 2. Western part : YATLİKANI 3. Central part : MERKEZ (Shopping area) Traditional Bodrum House's plans are classified in four subtitle 's: 1. The“Musandıra House”2. The“Typical Bodrum House”3. The“Tower House”4. The“Repetitive (elongated) Planed House”Seven of the most typical interior elements was analised: 1. Ocak 2. Yunmalık Deliği 3. Çanaklık 4. Raflar 5. Yüklükler 6. Dolaplar, Nişler, Delikler 7. Oturma Elemanları. 3In this part there are exanples from Today's Bodrum Architecture: Demir House ; Turgut Cansever Ertegun House ; Turgut Cansever Seçkin Konaklar ; Cengiz Bektaş Pir Tatil Köyü ; Cengiz Bektaş Torba '83 Konutları ; Ersen Gürsel Özer Kabaş Louse ; Ersen Gürsel T.
