Özet

Bu araştırmanın amacı, İlköğretim 6.7.8. sınıf Fen ve Teknoloji Öğretim Programına ilişkin öğretmen görüşlerini belirlemektir. Bu amaç çerçevesinde, Fen ve Teknoloji Öğretim Programının geneline, kazanımlarına, içeriğine, uygulanmasına, ölçme değerlendirme boyutlarına, ölçme ve değerlendirme boyutlarını kullanma sıklığına göre ve öğrencilerin doğrudan verilecek becerileri ve doğrudan verilecek değerleri kazanma düzeylerine ilişkin öğretmen görüşlerini ortaya koymaktır. Bu görüşler çerçevesinde, öğretmenlerin ?okutmuş olduğu sınıf durumuna?, ?yeni ilköğretim programları tanıtım seminerine katılma durumuna?, ?en son bitirdiği okul/öğretim programına?, ?sınıf mevcuduna?, ?yeni ilköğretim programları tanıtım seminerine katılma durumuna?, ?yeni ilköğretim programları tanıtım seminerine katılma durumuna?, ?katıldıkları seminerde Fen ve Teknoloji programına hakkında yeterli bilgilendirilme durumuna?, ?okuluna gönderilen yeni Fen ve Teknoloji Öğretim Programı kitabından haberdar olma durumuna?, ?yeni Fen ve Teknoloji Öğretim Programı'nı inceleme durumuna? ve ?programa nereden ulaştığına? göre görüşleri arasında fark olup olmadığını belirlemektir.Tarama modeli olan araştırmada öğretmen görüşlerini belirlemek amacıyla araştırıcı tarafından hazırlanan anket formları kullanılmıştır. Anketler Erzincan merkez, ilçe, belde ve köylerinde görev yapan 85 ilköğretim okulundan, 74 Fen ve Teknoloji öğretmenlerinden 68'ine uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada toplanan verilerin analizinde 5 farklı istatistiksel analiz kullanılmıştır. Bu analizler bilgisayarda SPSS for Windows 12.00 paket programı ile yapılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin analizinde aritmetik ortalamalar, standart sapmalar,hesaplanmış; Mann-Whitney U testi, Kruskal-Wallis testi uygulanmıştır..Araştırma sonucunda öğretmenler İlköğretim 6.7.8. sınıf Fen ve Teknoloji Öğretim Programına yönelik olarak genel olumlu görüş belirtmişlerdir. Ancak öğretmenlerin programın geneli hakkında yeterli bilgiye sahip olmaları, etkinliklerin rahatça uygulanabilirliği, programları tam olarak uygulamaya dönüştürülmesi, ölçme, değerlendirme, yöntem ve teknikleri çok zaman aldığını belirtmeleri bu konularda sorunların olduğunu göstermektedir.

The aim of this study is to determine teacher?s opinions about the Curriculum of Science and Technology course in 6th, 7th and 8th classes of Primary Education. Within the framework of this aim, we would like to put forward teacher?s opinions regarding the overall Curriculum of Science and Technology, its outcomes, content, practice, measurement and evaluation extents, frequency of usage of measurement and evaluation extents and the learners? levels of acquisition of the directly taught skills and values. As part of these views, to determine whether there is a difference between his/her viewpoints according to ?the status of the class he/she is teaching?, ?participation to the seminar of introducing new primary education curriculums?, ?the school/education program of latest graduation?, ?class size?, ?adequately being informed about Curriculum of Science and Technology in the seminar he/she participated?, ?becoming aware of the new Curriculum of Science and Technology Book?, ?examining the new Curriculum of Science and Technology? and ?from where he/she reached the curriculum?.The survey forms prepared by the researcher were used in this study with scanning model in order to determine teachers? opinions. The surveys were conducted to 68 Science and Technology teachers out of 74, who work in Erzincan city centre, its districts, towns, and villages. 5 different statistical analyses were used in the analysis of the data collected in the study. These analyses were made with SPSS for Windows 12.00 package program. In the analysis of the data collected, arithmetic averages, standard deviations, Mann-Whitney U test and Kruskal-Wallis test were calculated.At the result of the study, teachers generally delivered positive opinions regarding the Curriculum of Science and Technology course in 6th, 7th and 8th classes of Primary Education. However, teachers? indications of hesitations shows that there are some problems in such topics as their having enough information regarding the overall curriculum, applications of the activities comfortably, putting the curriculum fully into practice, measurement and evaluation process?s taking so much time and the application of these processes comfortably.
