Özet
Sosyal sermaye, literatürdeki yerini doksanlardan sonra belirginleştirmiştir. Son yıllarda hem akademik çevrelerce hem de kurumsal araştırmalar ve uygulamalar sayesinde yoğun bir ilgiye de mazhar olmuştur. Toplumsal yapıya referansla anlaşılmaya çalışılan kavram, kişilerarası ilişkilerde yerleşik bir güce işaret eder. Gerektiğinde kullanılmak üzere işlevselleştirilebilen sosyal ilişkilerin potansiyeline odaklanır. Bu çerçevede kavrama yüklenilen anlamlar salt bireyi aşarak toplumsal ilişkiler, ağlar, değerler, inançlar, topluluk vb. gibi eylemin motivasyon kaynaklarına yönelir. Bilinçli insani birliktelikleri sorunsallaştırır. Bu çalışma ise mekâna dayalı toplumsal ilişkilerin sosyal sermaye potansiyelini anlamaya odaklanmıştır. Aynı mekanı paylaşan insanların ortak hayat tecrübeleri, yakın toplumsal ilişkileri geliştiren bir unsur olarak kabul edilmiştir. Bu bağlamda çalışmanın ikinci önemli kavramı olan topluluk duygusu mekâna dayalı ilişkileri anlamayı sağlamıştır. Topluluk duygusu ve sosyal sermaye arasındaki ilişkiye odaklanan bu çalışma üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. İlk olarak sosyal sermaye teorisi tartışılmış ve detaylı bir şekilde incelenmiştir. İkinci bölümde ise topluluk duygusuna sosyolojik bir çerçeve çizilmiştir. Son bölümde ise alan araştırmasının metodolojik sınırları belirlenmiş ve elde edilen veriler belirli başlıklar altında irdelenmiştir.

Social capital concretized space in the literature in the nineties. In recent years, thanks to academic circles as well as corporate research and applications; social capital has an intense interest in the blessings. The concept of social capital, which was studied to be understood with reference to social structure, refers to a built-in power in interpersonal relations. It focuses on the potential of social relations, which can be functionalized, in order to be used when needed. In this context, the meanings imposed to the concept goes beyond the individual and reaches to sources such as the comprehension of social relations, networks, values, beliefs, community and so on and motivation towards action. It makes the conscious humanitarian associations in a problematic way. This study focused on understanding the potential of space based on the social relations of social capital. Common life experiences of people sharing the same space have been recognized as a factor which develops close social relationships. In this context, the second most important concept the study the sense of community provided to understand the relationships based on the space. This study focuses on the relationship between sense of community and social capital and study consists of three parts. First, the social capital theory is discussed and investigated in detail. In the second part a sociological framework for the sense of community is drawn. In the last section methodological limits of the survey methodology were determined and the data obtained were discussed under the specific topics.
