Özet
Bu çalışmada 20. yy.'da ülkemizde yaşamış, çağdaş çoksesli müziğin gelişmesi ve yaygınlaşması için çok büyük çabalar sarfetmiş olan Cemal Reşit Rey'in Keman Konçertosu incelenmiş, icrasına yönelik çalışma yöntemleri sunulmuştur.Dört bölümden oluşan tezin ilk bölümünde, Türkiye'de Cumhuriyet sonrası çağdaş çoksesli müziğin gelişimi genel hatlarıyla ele alınmış, Türk Beşleri ve eserleri hakkında bilgiler verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde, 20. yy.'da çağdaş çoksesli Türk müziğinin gelişiminde çok büyük pay sahibi olan Türk Beşleri'nden Cemal Reşit Rey'in hayatı, eserleri, ödülleri ve yönettiği orkestralar araştırılmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde, konçerto formu kısaca anlatılarak Cemal Reşit Rey Keman Konçertosu'nun yapısal analizi ayrıntılı olarak incelenmiştir. Dördüncü ve son bölümde ise, eserin yorumlanmasına yardımcı olacak çalışma yöntemleri önerilmiştir.

This study provides a detailed analysis of the violin concerto by Cemal Reşit Rey, a 20th century Turkish composer who played a major role in the development of Turkish modern polyphonic music, and several practise methods on how to perform the piece.The first section is a discussion on the development of modern polyphonic music in Turkey after the Revolution, the Turkish Mighty Five, and their works in general. The second section is a biographical research on the life and works of Cemal Reşit Rey, including information on the awards he had received and the orchestras he had conducted. The third section, which starts with a brief description of the concerto form, is a detailed structural analysis of Cemal Reşit Rey?s Violin Concerto. The fourth and the final chapter proposes some practise methods that would be helpful in interpreting the piece.
