Özet

Bu çalışma, Türkiye'deki endemik ve nesli tükenen, tükenmekte olan türlere öğretmenlik programlarında öğrenim gören üniversite öğrencileri tarafından atfedilen değerlerin tespit edilmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu, Gazi Üniversitesi Gazi Eğitim Fakültesi Fen Bilgisi Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı IV. sınıf öğrencileri ile Biyoloji Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı IV. ve V. sınıf öğrencileri olmak üzere toplam 120 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır.Çalışma grubuna, 2009-2010 güz döneminde sözcük-çağrışım testi ve anket uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler, frekans-yüzde olarak hesaplanmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda şu sonuçlara ulaşılmıştır:Öğrencilerin Türkiye'deki endemik ve nesli tükenen türlere atfettikleri 13 farklı değer boyutu tespit edilmiştir. Öğrencilerin en çok %20'lik cevap oranıyla türlerin ekolojik değerini önemli buldukları ortaya çıkmıştır.Öğrencilerin araştırmada kullanılan Türkiye'deki endemik türlerin her birine ayrı ayrı atfettikleri değerler tespit edilmiştir.Öğrencilerin araştırmada kullanılan Türkiye'deki nesli tükenen türlerin her birine ayrı ayrı atfettikleri değerler tespit edilmiştir.

This study has been conducted with a view to puth forth the values which, by those university students who are receiving their education through the teaching courses, had been attributed to the endemic and exhausted species. The researching group consists of 120 students who are receiving their education at the faculty of Education attached to the Gazi University. They are in the fourth class of Science Education Department and also in the fourth and fifth classes of Biology Education Department.The researching group of this study, during the fall term, had been subjected to the word-association test and conduct of a questionnaire. The acquired data has been calculated as frequency-percentage.In the light of these finding, the following conclusions were derived:The sizes of values which, by the students, had been attributed to the endemic and exhausted/ about to be exhausted species in Turkey, were puth forth. It has been emerged that the most important value of the species is ecologic with 20,47% percentage for the students.The sizes of values which, by the students, had been attributed to each endemic species in Turkey used in research were puth forth.The size of values which, by the students, had been attributed to each exhausted species in Turkey used in research, were puth forth.
