Özet
Bu çalışma, Sosyal Bilgiler dersi ?Üretimden Tüketime? ünitesinin öğretiminde aktif öğrenme tekniklerinin ilköğretim dördüncü sınıf öğrencilerinin akademik başarılarına etkisini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır.Çalışma, 2009-2010 eğitim-öğretim yılı güz döneminde Düzce ili, Merkez ilçesi Beyköy İlköğretim Okulunda yapılmıştır. 4 / A sınıfı deney grubu, 4 / B sınıfı ise kontrol grubu olarak seçilmiştir. Her iki sınıfta da ders araştırmacı tarafından işlenmiştir. Deney grubuna aktif öğrenme tekniklerine, kontrol grubuna ise normal müfredatta belirtilen yöntem ve tekniklere uygun şekilde öğretim yapılmıştır.Araştırmada deneysel yöntem kullanılmıştır. Deneysel yöntemin, ön test ? son test kontrol gruplu deseni kullanılmıştır. Kontrol ve deney grupları yirmi dokuz kişiden oluşmuştur. Çalışma, 21.12.2009 ? 19.01.2010 tarihleri arasındaki ?Üretimden Tüketime? ünitesinde yürütülmüştür.Araştırmada öğrencilerin akademik başarılarını ölçmek için bir başarı testi uygulanmıştır. Araştırmaya katılan gruplara deneysel işlem öncesi ön test, işlem sonrasında ise son test uygulanmıştır. Veri analizi, SPSS programı t-testi kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen verilerin anlamlılığı .05 anlamlılık düzeyinde test edilmiştir.Araştırmada elde edilen istatistiksel bulgulara göre aktif öğrenme tekniklerinin Sosyal Bilgiler öğretiminde öğrenci başarısı üzerinde deney grubu lehine anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmuştur.

This study was carried out with the aim of determining the effect of the learning achievement to active learning methods in teaching from production to consuption unit in Social Study of the forth grade students of primary education.The study was carried in 2009 ? 2010 academic year in the spring term to the students in Beyköy Primary School, Center District, Düzce Province. Class 4 / A is chosen as the experiment group and class 4 / B is chosen as the control group. In both classes the lesson was carried out by researcher. Active learning method was used in the control group, the method which is applied in normal the cirriculum of social studies (traditional method) was used in the experimental group appropriately.In this study experimental method was used. Pre-test and post-test with control group design of experimental research method was used. The experimental and control groups consist of twenty nine students. The study was applied in ?from Production to Consuption? unit?s subjects between the dates 21.12.2009 ? 19.01.2010.The achievement test, in the research, was applied to determine student?s academic achievements. A pre-test was applied before the experimental process and a post-test was applied after the process to the groups in the study. The analysis of the data was gained by using t-test of the SPSS programme. The significance of the gained data was evaluated at .05 significant level.As the result of the study, according to gained data in teaching social study of active learning methods meaningful difference was found in the students? achievement between girls and boys in favour of the experimental group students.,
