Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı, ilköğretim 7.sınıf Fen ve Teknoloji dersi ?Vücudumuzda Sistemler? ünitesinde eğitici dramanın, öğrencilerin başarılarına etkisini araştırmaktır. Araştırma esnasında öğrencilerin Fen ve Teknoloji dersine karşı tutumlarına da bakılmıştır. Araştırma Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı'na bağlı Sakarya ili Ferizli ilçesi Şehit Hacı Uzun İlköğretim Okulu'nda öğrenim gören ve 7.sınıf öğrencilerinden oluşan iki farklı sınıfa uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada kontrol gruplu ön-test son-test modeli kullanılmıştır. Deney grubunda eğitici drama yöntemiyle, kontrol grubunda ise geleneksel yöntemle ?Vücudumuzda Sistemler? ünitesi işlenmiştir. Öğrencilerin akademik başarılarını ölçmek için Fen ve Teknoloji dersi ünite başarı testi hazırlanmıştır. Fen ve Teknoloji dersi ünite başarı testi ve Fen ve Teknoloji dersine yönelik tutum ölçeği deneysel çalışma öncesi ve sonrasında ön-test ve son-test olarak her iki gruba da uygulanmıştır. Bu testlerin sonucunda elde edilen veriler SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) programıyla çözümlenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda eğitici drama yönteminin uygulandığı deney grubu ile geleneksel yöntemin uygulandığı kontrol grubunun Fen ve Teknoloji dersindeki başarı düzeyleri ve Fen ve Teknoloji dersine yönelik tutumları arasında deney grubu lehine anlamlı bir fark olduğu bulunmuştur.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the educational drama method on students? achievement, in ?the systems of body structures? unit in seventh grade of science and technology lesson in secondary school. During this study, students? attitudes towards science and technology courses were also observed. This study was implemented on two different classes of 7th grade students in Şehit Hacı Uzun Secondary School in Ferizli, Sakarya. The model of pre-test and post-test with control group was used in this study. ?The systems of body structures? unit was taught with educational drama method in experimental group, however it was taught with traditiomal method in control group. Achievement test was prepared in order to determine students? academic achievement on Science and Technology lesson. The achievement tests and attitude scale as pre-test were administrated to both groups before the application, as post-tests and scale after the application. The results were examined in SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) program. The results revealed significant differences between the experimental group (in which educational drama method was used) and control group (in which traditional method was used) in their academic achievement as well as their attitudes towards science and technology lesson. In conclusion, it was identified that the experimental group scored significantly higher than the control group.
