-78- between % loam contents and cation exchange capacity (CEC)? 5 % significancy level and positive (r=0.370x) correlations with exchangeable Na contents; 1 % significancy level and positive (r=Q.452xx) correlations with exchangeable Ca+++ Mg++ contents. 1 % significancy level and positive (r=0.858xx) correlations were obtained between % clay percent of researched samples and cation exchange capacity (CEC); 1 % significancy level and positive (r=0.467xx) correlations with exchangeable K+ş 1 % significancy level and positive (r=0.757xx) correlations exchangeable Ca+++ Mg++ contents. Measured pH values of studied soils at saturated soil were analysed between 7.50-8.63. Because of excess exchangeable Na+ ions, high pH vaules in soils was formed. Exchangeable sodium percentage (ESP) values of soil samples at the soil layers in the profiles was between a wide range from 1.64- 38.49 %.> There were 1 % significancy level and positive (r=0.722xx) correlations between the pH values at saturated soil of soil samples in searched area and exchangeable Na+ contents and 1 % significancy level and positive (r=0.800xx) correlations with exchangeable sodium percentage (ESP) values. Water soluble total salt contents were analysed an average value like 0.32 %. There were 1 % significancy level and positive (r=0.607xx) correlations between the water soluble total salt content of soil and exchangeable Na contents and 1 % significancy level and positive (r=0.54lxx) correlations with exchangeable sodium percentage (ESP) values. Amount of total nitrogen was between 0.02-0.15 % and organic matter contents were between the values of 0.33-1.55 %* Plain soils was supposed to be poor with respect to organic matter content. 1 % significancy level and positive (r=0.457xx) correlations were found between total nitrogen of soils belong to the searched profiles and cation exchange capacities (CEC) | 5 % significancy level and positive (r=0.380x) correlations with exchangeable Na contents. 1 % significancy level and positive (r=0.666xx) correlations were obtained between organic matter contents of soils and cation exchange capacities (CEC); 1 % significancy level and positive-79- (r=0»690xx) correlations with exchangeable K+ contents? 1 % significancy level and positive (r=0.679xx) correlations with exchangeable Ca+++ Mg+ contents. Cation exchange capacities (CEC) of soils analysed in Atça plain were found between 4.02-20.50 rae/100 gr. Due to the amount of clay and organic matter in soil, cation exchange capacities (CEC) of soils raises. Ca + Mg were dominant cations in exchange complex of soils and they were at the range between 3.78-17.57 me/100 gr. Exchangeable K+ contents were between 0.09-0.89 me/100 gr. and exchangeable Na+ contents were between 0.15-6.17 me/100 gr. 1 % significancy level and positive (r=0.449XX) correlations were obtained between cation exchange capacities (CEC) of plain soils and exchangeable K+ contents; 1 % significancy level and positive (r=0.828xx) correlations with exchangeable Ca+++ Mg++ contents. According to the result of soils in saturation extract 9 it was seen that 35 % of plain soils contains Ca++ and 32 % of plain soils contains Na and Mg cation. 5 %-l % significancy levels and positive correlations were obtained between the cations and anions in the saturation extract and electrical c. conductivity (ECxlO ) of saturation extract and especially with Na+ from exchangeable cations. Selected water samples from sources used for the purpose of irrigation of Atça plain were at the C~-S, class and they were moderately salty and had a little sodium.-78- between % loam contents and cation exchange capacity (CEC)? 5 % significancy level and positive (r=0.370x) correlations with exchangeable Na contents; 1 % significancy level and positive (r=Q.452xx) correlations with exchangeable Ca+++ Mg++ contents. 1 % significancy level and positive (r=0.858xx) correlations were obtained between % clay percent of researched samples and cation exchange capacity (CEC); 1 % significancy level and positive (r=0.467xx) correlations with exchangeable K+ş 1 % significancy level and positive (r=0.757xx) correlations exchangeable Ca+++ Mg++ contents.
