Özet
Söz konusu tez Gaziantep Üniversitesi İngilizce Hazırlık Okulu'nda sınıf içinde drama tekniklerinin ve aktivitelerinin nasıl ve ne dereceye kadar kullanıldığını belirlemeye yöneliktir, ingilizce Hazırlık Okulu öğretmenlerinin tümüne ve geneli temsil eden bir grup hazırlık sınıfı öğrencisine uygulanan anket formları ile konu ile ilgili veriler toplanmıştır, öğretmen ve öğrencilerin görüşleri arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark olup olmadığım araştırmak için verilerin analizinde x² testi uygulanmıştır. Bu bulguların ışığında öğretmen ve öğrencilerin görüşleri arasında anlamlı bir fark gözlenmemiştir ve drama tekniklerinin ve aktivitelerinin sınıf içinde daha verimli bir şekilde kullanılması için birtakım öneriler sunulmuştur.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the use of the dramatic techniques or activities in the English Prep Schoool of“the”University of Gaziantep. The primary focus is on how and to what extent these techniques or activities are used in the ELT classrooms. Therefore, a descriptive study was carried out by administering questionnaires to the subjects involved in the English Foreign Language teaching/learning processes at the University of Gaziantep. Data were gathered through those questionnaire forms answered by nineteen instructors and ninety students out of two hundred and fifty as a sample. The obtained data were classified and analyzed, then percentile ranking procedure and chi square formulas were applied to see whether there vtas a statistically significant difference among the instructors' and students' opinions on the subject. The analysis of the data indicated that there is no statistically significant difference among the instructors' and students' opinions on the use of the dramatic techniques or activities. The findings revealed that the use of these techniques or activities still has some lacks.
