Özet
Bu çalışmada, Ege Bölgesinin önemli çilek yetiştiricilik alanlarında 2008 ve 2009 yıllarında virüs hastalıklarının bulunma durumlarını belirlemek amacıyla, virüs belirtisi gösteren ve göstermeyen çilek bitkilerinden 221 örnek toplanmıştır. Arabis mosaic virus (ArBV), Strawberry crincle virus (SCV), Strawberry latent ringspot virus (SLRSV), Strawberry mottle virus (SMoV), Strawberry mild yellow edge virus (SMYEV), Strawberry vein banding virus (SVBV) ve Tomato ringspot virus (ToRSV) adlı viral etmenlerinin varlığı RT-PCR yöntemi kullanılarak belirlenmiştir. Sonuç olarak, RT-PCR testlerinin değerlendirilmeleri sonucunda 221 örnekten 85'inin virüsler ile enfekteli olduğu bulunmuştur. SCV' ye 10 örnekte, SMYEV' ne 48 örnekte, SMoV'ne örnekte ve TORSV'ne 7 örnekte rastlanmıştır. 16 örnekte de karışık enfeksiyona rastlanmıştır. SVBV, SLRSV ve ArMV'e hiç rastlanmamıştır.

To find out the incidence of strawberry viruses in the important growing areas of Ege Region,the total of 221 plant samples were collected in 2008 and 2009 randomly from strawberry plantations with virus like symptoms or without any symptoms. The presence of Arabis mosaic virus (ArBV), Strawberry crinckle virus (SCV), Strawberry latent ringspotvirus (SLRSV), Strawberry mottle virus (SMoV), Strawberry mild yellow edge virus (SMYEV), Strawberry vein banding virus (SVBV) and Tomato ringspot virus (ToRSV) in the plant specimens were evaluated by using RT PCR. As a result of RT-PCR tests it was observed that 85 samples out of 221 were infected with different viruses. SCV in 10 samples, SMYEV in 48 samples, SMoV in 4 samples and ToRSV in 7 samples were found. Mixed infections were found in 16 samples. On the other hand, neither SVBV nor ArMV and SLRSV were positively identified at any of the specimens.
