Özet
Bu tez, Michel Foucault'nun yönetimsellik serüveninin, sosyal ve siyasal analizde kullandığımız kategorilerin kendinden menkullüğünün çeşitli biçimlerine meydan okumak üzere, nasıl bir düşünüme davet çıkardığını incelemesi yanında, bu daveti takip eden çalışmaların, bu serüveninin çok-boyutlu kavramsal hazinesinden ne gibi eksenlerde faydalandığını inceler. Bu çalışma, bahsi geçen düşünümün, sadece, refah devletinin çöküşe ve neo-liberalizmin yükselişe geçtiği tarihsel-siyasal dönemece dair elverişli bir araç seti sunmadığını, bu yöndeki katkıları yanında, çeşitli süreksizliklere sahip olmakla beraber, 16.yüzyıldan 19.yüzyıla uzanan tarihe ve bu tarihin siyasetine dair önemli açılımlar sunduğunu ileri sürer.Foucault'nun yönetimsellik serüveninin sosyal ve siyasal analizdeki yansımalarına, çeşitli araştırma eksenlerindeki yankılarına ve içersinde barındırdığı kayıp halkalara işaret etmeyi hedefleyen bu tez, beş bölümden oluşur. Giriş kısmı, teze ve bölümlere dair genel bir bakış sunar. İkinci ve Üçüncü Bölümler, ?devletin yönetimselleşmesi? sürecine, Dördüncü Bölüm ?yönetimin yönetimselleşmesi? temasına odaklanır. Beşinci Bölüm ise, Michel Foucault'nun yönetimsellik serüveninin sunduğu çok-boyutlu kavramsal hazineden hangi araştırma eksenlerinde faydalanıldığına değinir. Son bölüm, diğer bölümlerin ışık tuttuğu değerlendirmelere yaslanarak, tezi sonlandırır.

This dissertation examines not only the reflection that Michel Foucault?s adventure of governmentality invites us to for challenging various forms of taken-for-granted categories we employ in social and political analysis, but also the axes on which its multi-dimensional conceptual treasury has been projected. This study argues that such reflection provides a convenient toolkit not only for understanding the historical-political curve when the collapse of welfare state and the rise of neo-liberalism have commenced, but also - despite its various intermittences ? has significant implications for the history and politics of 16th to 19th centuries.This dissertation, which intends to indicate not only to the reflections of Foucault?s adventure of governmentality on social and political analysis, but also its various echoes and missing links, consists of five chapters. Introduction provides an overview of the thesis and chapters. Second and third chapters dwell upon the process of the ?governmentalization of state?, while fourth chapter focuses on the theme of ?governmentalization of government?. Fifth chapter analyzes various research axes on which the conceptual treasury presented by Michel Foucault?s adventure of governmentality has been projected. Last Chapter, in light of thus far has been discussed, concludes the dissertation.
