Özet
Bu arastırmada lkögretim 6. sınıf Sosyal Bilgiler dersinde isbirlikli ögrenmeyönteminin demokratik tutum üzerindeki etkisi arastırılmıstır. Arastırma cinsiyet ve kardessayısı degiskenleri açısından ele alınmıstır.Arastırma 2007-2008 Egitim-Ögretim yılının II. yarıyılında Erzurum ilinde birilkögretim okulundaki 81 ögrenci ile gerçeklestirilmistir. Arastımanın örneklemi randomolarak belirlenmistir. Çalısma 6 hafta sürmüstür. Ögrencilerin isbirlikli ögrenme yöntemi iledemokratik tutumlarındaki degisimi belirleyebilmek için ögrencilere Gömleksiz tarafındanhazırlanan ``Sınıf Ortamına liskin Demokratik Tutum Ölçegi'' ön-test ve son-test olarakuygulanmıstır.Arastırmada elde edilen verilerin analizi bilgisayarda SPSS for Windows 16.00istatistik paket programı ile yapılmıs olup, bagımlı örneklemler için t testi, bagımsızörneklemler için t testi ve Kruskal-Wallis varyans analizi uygulanmıstır. Analizlerdeanlamlılık düzeyi p<0.05 kabul edilmistir.Arastırmanın sonunda isbirlikli ögrenme yöntemi uygulanarak islenen Sosyal Bilgilerdersinin demokratik tutumu gelistirici yönde etkisinin oldugu, kız ögrencilerin demokratiktutumlarını erkek ögrencilere göre daha fazla gelistirdigi, hem ön-testte hem de son-testtekardes sayısı 1-3 arasında olan ögrencilerin kardes sayısı daha fazla olan ögrencilere göredemokratik tutumlarının daha düsük oldugu sonuçlarına ulasılmıstır.

In this research effect of cooperative learning method on democratic attitude in SocialSciences Course in the sixth class of primary school is explored. The research is dealth with interms of sex and the number of siblings variants.The research was carried out with 81 students of a primary school in Erzurum in thesecond term of the 2007-2008 Academic Year. The sample of the research was determinedrandomly. The study lasted six weeks. ``Democratic Approach Scale Regarding The ClassEnvironment?? prepared by Gömleksiz was applied as pre-testing and post-testing in order todefine the change of the cooperative learning method and students? democratic approach.The analysis of the data derived from the research was analysed by computer usingSPSS for Windows 16.00 statistics packaged software and t test for dependent samples, t testfor independent samples and Kruskal-Wallis variance analysis were applied. The signifancelevel in the analysis taken as p<0.05.At the end of the research it was concluded that Social Sciences Course performed byapplying cooperative learning method had an effect on developing the democratic attitude, incomparison with male students female students developed their democratic attitude furtherand in the pre-testing as well as post-testing students who had siblings between 1-3 had lessdemocratic attitude than the students who had more siblings.
