Özet
`Heykelde Zaman Bağlamında Yeni İnşa Arayışları' adlı bu çalışmada, zamanın süreklidevinimi sonucu oluşan fiziksel ve kavramsal dönüşümler açığa çıkarılmayaçalışılmıştır. Çalışmadaki metinler ve uygulamalar belli bir form kazanmış görüntününötesinde, süreci inşa etme girişimindedirler. Bu çatı altında çalışma raporu üç bölümeayrılmıştır: İlk iki bölümünde, sanat tarihinin değişik dönemlerindeki zamankavrayışları incelenmiştir. Başka bir deyişle, sanat tarihinin dönemlerinde ve budönemlerin entelektüel ve estetik anlayışlarına etki etmiş zaman kavrayışlarısunulmuştur. Üçüncü bölümde uygulama süreci devreye girmiş ve günümüz sanatındanörneklerle konu pekiştirilmiştir. Sonuç olarak Heykelin izleyici ile girdiği ilişkidekarşılıklı etkileşim olanakları geliştirilerek onun yapım sürecine kavramsal ya dafiziksel olarak müdahale edebilecekleri ortamlar sağlamak. Dolaylı ve dolaysızmüdahalelerle sanatsal çalışmaların belirli bir süreç içerisinde başkalaşıma kendileriniaçık tutmaları hedeflenmiştir.

This thesis, titled `Searching New Ways of Construction in Sculpture in the Context ofTime? , aims at introducing physical and conceptual transformations (and differences),caused by the constant motion of time. Beyond exhibiting fnished forms, the texts andthe works reffered in this study aims at constructing the duration of incomplete forms.In that respect, this thesis is divided in to three chapters: The first and the the secondchapters analyse the perception of time in different art history periods. In other words,art historiol periods and their intellectual and aesthetics phenomenos are studied tosurface several different conceptions related to the perception of time. In the finalchapter of this thesis, the examples from today?s art context is tried to be shown withthe various pieces of art works performed during this study. In conclusion, it is aimed tobuild up the interactive relationship between the sculpture and viwer and to provideopportunities which they can actually interfere construction conceptually andphysically. In other words, this study focused on to keep an art work open to it isoutside, to diffferent potentialities.
