Özet
Bu metinde fagotun tarihsel süreci, varolduğu dönemler içinde uğradığı değişimler, değişimlerin sonucunda fagotun katılımıyla müziğe nasıl yansıdığı ve resital programı içerisinde eserleri yer alan Malcolm Arnold, Eugene Bozza, Heitor Villa ? Lobos ve Georg Phillipp Telemann'nın hayatları ve fagot repetuvarındaki yerlerinin öneminin ele alınması amaç edinildi.Yukarıda belirtilen bestecilerin fagot için yazdıkları eserler aynı zamanda resital programı içerisinde yer almaktadır. Bu eserleri bütün yönleriyle yorumlayabilmek için, bestelendiği dönemi de incelemek gerekir: Bu amaçla kaynaklar doğrultusunda fagotun tarihsel gelişimine de bakarak bu eserleri yorumlamak gerektiği kanısındayım. Resital programı içinde söz konusu olan eserlerle hazırlanan bu çalışmada, bestecilerin müzik tarihindeki yeri ve önemi üzerinde de durulacaktır. Bu çalışmayı yapmak bestecilerin eserlerini yorumlamamızda yol gösterici olacaktır.

In this text the historical process of the bassoon, the changes it has been through in time, how these changes have affected the music; and the lives and the importance of the composers whose compositions are available in the recital repertoirés of bassoon- such as Heitor Villa-Lobos, Malcolm Arnold, Eugene Bozza and Georg Philipp Telemann; have been put to subject.The compositions that are written for the bassoon by composers mentioned above, are all in the recital repertoiré. In order to fully interpret these pieces, we must individually study each of them in their own period. This is why it is necessary for us to see the bassoon in its historical progress, and think of each piece considering this important fact. The text also talks of the place the mentioned composers hold in the history of music, and this helps us very much on interpreting their compositions.
