Özet
Araştırmada temel amaç ortaöğretim öğrencilerinin ?Lise? ve ?Öğretmen? kavramlarınaatfettikleri anlamları belirlemektir. Araştırmada ayrıca farklı değişkenlere göreortaöğretim öğrencilerinin ?Lise? ve ?Öğretmen? kavramlarına atfettikleri anlamlarındeğişip değişmediği de incelenmiştir. Araştırma betimsel yöntemlerden okul surveyyöntemi ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma 497 kız 362 erkek olmak üzere toplam s59ortaöğretim öğrencisi ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada veriler araştırmacı tarafındangeliştirilen kişisel bilgi formu (KBF), ?Lise Kavramına Atfedilen Anlamları BelirlemeÖlçeği? (LKAABÖ) ve ?Öğretmen Kavramına Atfedilen Anlamları Belirleme Ölçeği?(ÖKAABÖ) yardımı ile toplanmıştır. Veriler spss for Windows paket programı yardımıile frekans, yüzdelikler, Mann Whitney-U testi, Kruskall Wallis ve Kay-Kare tekniklerikullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan analizler sonucunda aşağıdaki bulgularaulaşılmıştır.1. Ortaöğretim öğrencileri liseyi güvenli bir ortam olarak görmemektedirler.2. Ortaöğretim öğrencileri liseyi hayata ve üniversiteye hazırlayan bir kaynak olarakgörmemektedirler.3. Ortaöğretim öğrencileri liseyi bir maraton olarak değerlenmektedirler.4. Ortaöğretim öğrencileri öğretmeni sabırsız olarak değerlendirmektedir.5. Ortaöğretim öğrencileri öğretmeni katı olarak değerlendirmektedir.6. Ortaöğretim öğrencileri öğretmeni model ve rehber olarak görmemektedir.7. Ortaöğretim öğrencilerinin öğrenim gördükleri lise türü hem lise kavramına hem deöğretmen kavramına yapılan atıflarda bir faktördür.8. Kız öğrencilerin ?öğretmen? kavramına atfettikleri anlamların erkek öğrencileregöre daha olumlu olduğu bulunmuştur.

The main aim of the research is identifying the meanings attributed by the secondaryeducation students to the concepts of ? High School? and ?Teacher?. Also, it isinvestigated whether the meanings attributed by the students are affected or notaccording to different variables. The research is carried out by school-survey methodoneof the descriptive methods. The research is carried out with a total number of 859(497 female and 362 male) high school students. The data is gathered by the help of?Personal Information Form?, ?Identification of the Meanings Attributed to the Conceptof High School Scale? and ?Identification of the Meanings Attributed to the Conceptof Teacher Scale? created by the researcher. The data is analyzed by the help of SPSSwindows packet program using frequency, percentiles, the test of Mann Whitney-U , thetechniques of Kruskall Wallis and Kay-square. The analyses are resulted in with theseconclusions below.1. Secondary education students don?t find the high school safe.2. Secondary education students don?t consider the high school as a sourcepreparing them to the life and the university.3. Secondary education students judge the high school as a marathon.4. Secondary education students find the teacher impatient.5. Secondary education students find the teacher unbending.6. Secondary education students don?t regard the teacher as a model and a guide.7. The type of school is a factor for both of the concepts.8. The female students evaluate the concept ?teacher? using more positivemeanings than the male ones.
