Özet
Sanayileşme ve hızlı nüfus artışı birtakım çevresel sorunların ortaya çıkmasına neden olmuştur. Çevresel sorunların oluşması, işletmelere çevrenin serbest bir mal olmadığını ekonomik bir mal olduğunu göstermiştir. Doğal kaynakların ekonomik bir değerle ifade edilmesi, çevre sorunların önlenmesi ve azaltılması için belli maliyetlere katlanılması çevre muhasebesi kavramını ortaya çıkartmıştır.Bu tez çalışmasında çevre muhasebesi kapsamında çevresel maliyetler tanımlamak, sınıflandırmak ve bunlara ilişkin muhasebe kayıtları oluşturmak amaçlanmıştır.

Industrialization and rapid population growth led to the emergence of some environmental problems are. Formation of environmental issues, business environment is not a free good that has an economic cost. An economic valuation of natural resources to be expressed, the prevention of environmental problems and to reduce certain costs out of the fold has to be the concept of environmental accounting.In this thesis in the context of environmental accounting, environmental costs, to identify, classify, and is intended to generate accounting records relating to them.
