Özet
Bu çalışma; eğitim sosyologlarının; Türk eğitim sistemine ilişkin görüşlerini, eğitim sosyolojisi alanına yaptıkları katkıları belirlemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Çalışma, eğitim sosyologlarını temsilen seçilen beş eğitim sosyologunun, makale ve kitaplarında bulunan, eğitim konuları hakkındaki görüşleri üzerinden yürütülmüştür. Ayrıca; eğitim alanında yaşanan problemlere getirdikleri çözüm önerilerini, günümüzde yaşanan hızlı bilimsel ve teknik gelişmelerin Türkiye'deki eğitim sistemini nasıl etkilediği ve nasıl şekillendireceği konularındaki değerlendirmelerini de araştırmaktadır.Çalışma, eğitim alanındaki birçok konunun ve problemin analizini içermektedir. Bunlar arasında; eğitimin sosyolojik teorisi, eğitimin toplumsal amaç ve işlevleri, toplumsal tabakalaşma ve hareketlilik, eğitimin toplumsal taşıyıcıları olan aile ve okul, toplumsallaşma, toplumsal değişme ve bütünleşme gibi genel toplumsal konular ile eğitim sosyologlarının eğitim sistemine ilişkin bazı sorunlar ve konular hakkındaki analiz ve önerileri, Türkiye'deki öğretmenlik yetiştirme sistemi ve sorunları, eğitimde yabancılaşma ve şiddet, beyin göçü, eğitimde fırsat ve imkan eşitliği, eğitimdeki yeni paradigmalar, Türk milli eğitim sistemine ilişkin değerlendirmeler bulunmaktadır.Klasik eğitim anlayışları, değişen toplumsal koşullara uygun nitelikte olmadığından yenilenmek durumundadırlar. Bu nedenle her toplum, kendi koşullarına uygun eğitim sistemleri ve politikaları geliştirmek zorundadır. Hızlı bilimsel ve teknolojik gelişmeler, bunu zorunlu kılmaktadır. Eğitim sosyolojisi; eğitim politikası ve yönetimi, eğitim sisteminin amaç ve muhtevası, toplumsal kişilik ve kimlik, toplum kalkınması, eğitim reformu gibi konularıyla toplumun geleceğini etkilemektedir. Aynı zamanda doğrudan ve dolaylı olarak eğitim sürecinde olan kişi sayısı düşünüldüğünde neredeyse toplumun tümünü etkilemektedir. Disiplinin sahip olduğu bu özellikler araştırmayı önemli kılmaktadır.Çalışma, bir derleme niteliği taşımakta, sistem boyutunda herhangi bir yaklaşım, görüş ve çerçeve sunmamaktadır.

This study aims to define the ideas of educational sociologists about Turkish education system and their contribution to the discipline of educational sociology. The study was built upon the ideas of five sociologists, who represent other educational sociologists, about education which presented in their books and articles.The study contains analyzes about a lot of problems and subjects of education. Among these problems and subjects are; sociological theory of education, social aims and functions of education, social stratification and mobility, families and schools which are the important components of education, socialization, social change and integration, the system and problems of teacher training program in Turkey, alienation in education and violence, brain drain, equality of opportunities in education, new paradigms in education and assessment on Turkish education system. Besides, it searches the solutions which they suggested for the problems of education faced today, how the rapid scientific and technical developments affected and formed the education in Turkey nowadays.Traditional education concepts in some societies should have been renewed due to not being suitable to changing social circumstances. Therefore each society has to develop educational systems and policies according to their circumstances. Rapid scientific and technological developments force this. Educational sociology affects the future of society considering educational policies and administration, the aims and contents of educational system, social identity, social development and educational improvement. Moreover, considering the number of people who are in education, it affects almost the whole society. Because of discipline having these indicators, the study becomes more important.The study is a collection of ideas of educational sociologists and does not present any approach, frame and idea about systemic dimension.
