Özet
Bu arastırmada ilköğretim okullarındaki beden eğitimi ve spor öğretim programının,ders öğretmenlerinin bakıs açısından etkililiğinin arastırılması amaçlanmıstır. Arastırmanınörneklemini 21 ildeki 720 beden eğitimi öğretmeni olusturmaktadır. Verilerin toplanması içinbeden eğitimi ve spor öğretmeni anketi, gözlem formu ve görüsme formu kullanılmıstır.Betimsel bir çalısma olan bu arastırmada tarama (survey) modeli kullanılmıstır. Arastırmakapsamında elde edilen veriler, SPSS for Windows 10.00 programı ile analiz edilerek, tablolarhalinde yorumlanmıstır.Arastırma sonuçlarına göre öğretmenler, öğretim programlarının öncelikle amaçlarauygun olmadığını, uygulamalarda da bu programlara tam olarak uyulmadığını belirtmislerdir.Ders saatlerinin yetersizliği, tesis, araç-gereç ve materyallerinin yokluğu veya az olması,öğretim programının ve ders planlarının uygulamasında olumsuzluklar yaratmaktadır.Öğretmenler, beden eğitimi ve spor programlarının amaç ve kazanımlarının önemliolduğunu ve derslerde gerçeklestiğini ifade etmislerdir. Öğretim programının içeriği hakkındaöğretmenler, oyun kurallarına çok önem verdiklerini, derslerde, komut yönteminin en çokkullanılan ve en etkili yöntem olduğunu ifade etmislerdir. Ölçme ve değerlendirmede daha çokuygulamalı sınavların yapıldığı belirtilmistir.

This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of elementary school physicaleducation and sports curriculum and instructional process under the light of the opinions ofteachers. The sample consisted of 720 physical education teachers from 21 cities in sevengeographical regions in Turkey. In this survey study, in order to provide triangulation bothquantitative and qualitative methods and techniques- namely questionnaire, interview,observation and document analysis- were used. The data from the questionnaire wereanalyzed using descriptive statistics through SPSS 10.0 and tabulated. Qualitative data wassubjected to content analysis.The results showed that there was a gap between the course curriculum and generalgoals and aims stated by the Ministry of Education. The implementation process of the PEcurriculum also lacked, as was also witnessed through observations in selected elementaryschools. The reasons of such lacking were inadequate course hours, PE hall absence, lack ofcourse materials and aids, and so on.Teachers stated that goals and objectives of the course were so important, and theywere achieved by students mostly. They stated that the course content was not actualizedadequately since the course hours were not enough. Teachers mostly used a few methods andtechniques in these courses, although there were dozen of methods and techniques. Teachersmostly used ?order? method in their courses. Motor-performance based exams were usedmostly by teachers.
