Özet
Bu araştırmada, ilköğretim 1-7. sınıf öğrenci velilerinin programın uygulanması sürecine katılımlarıyla okula ilişkin tutumları belirlenerek, yapılandırmacı programda velilerin katılım düzeylerini artırmak için çeşitli önerilerin geliştirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada, 2007-2008 eğitim-öğretim yılında Ankara'nın merkez ilçelerindeki ilköğretim okulları arasından kümeleme yöntemiyle seçilen 1-7. sınıf öğrencilerinin veli ve öğretmenleriyle çalışılmıştır. Veriler, `kişisel bilgi formu', `katılımı engelleyen etmenler formu', `okula ilişkin tutum ölçeği', `veli katılım ölçeği' ve `öğretmen görüşlerini içeren veli katılım ölçeği' ile toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde, ölçeklerden alınan sonuçların faktör bazında ve genele ilişkin ortalamaları ile standart sapmaları hesaplanmıştır. Farkın anlamlılığı için t-testi ve tek yönlü varyans analizi; fark çıkan gruplarda farkın kaynağını belirlemek için de Tukey Testi yapılmıştır. Velilerin okula ilişkin tutumları ile programın uygulanması sürecine katılımları arasındaki ilişkiyi anlamak için, korelasyon analizleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarından bazılarına göre; velilerin okul ve ev programlarına katılımları, ailede çocuk sayısı arttıkça, çocuğun sınıf düzeyi yükseldikçe, üst çevreden alt çevreye doğru gidildikçe azalmakta; velilerin okul programlarına katılımları, kişi başına düşen gelir seviyesi arttıkça artmaktadır. Velilerin okul memnuniyetleri ortaokuldan itibaren öğrenim durumu yükseldikçe, ailede çocuk sayısı azaldıkça, gelir seviyesi yükseldikçe azalmaktadır. Velilerin okul aktivitelerine ilişkin tutumları velilerin öğrenim düzeyleri yükseldikçe ve çocuk sayısı azaldıkça artmaktadır.

In this research, it was aimed to develop various suggestions to increase the level of parental participation in the constructivist program through the determination of the participation level of the parents of 1-7 grade students to the program and their attitudes towards the school. In the research, a study was conducted upon the teachers and parents of 1-7 grade students selected by the cluster method, from the primary schools of the central districts of the province of Ankara in 2007-2008 academic year. The collected data were obtained through `Personal Information Form?, `Form of Factors Preventing Attendance,? `Scale of Attitudes towards School?, `Scale of Parental Attendance? and `Scale of Parental Attendance Containing Teachers? Views?. In the analysis of the data, standard deviations were calculated through the overall and factor-based averages of the outcomes from the scales. T-test and unidirectional variance analysis for the relevance of the difference and Tukey Test for the determination of the source of this difference in the differentiated groups were conducted. In order to understand the relationship between the parental attitude toward school and the level of participation in the program, correlation analyses were conducted. According to some of the research results; parental participation in the school-based and domestic programs decreases as the number of children and their grade level increase, showing a trend from upper class to lower class; and the parental participation in the school programs increases as the income per capita level increases. Satisfaction of the parents for the school decreases as the level of income as well as the educational level of the parents starting from the secondary school increase and the number of children decreases. Parental attitudes for the school activities increase as the educational level of the parents increases and the number of children decreases.
