Özet
Bu araştırmada mesleki müzik eğitimi veren kurumlar kapsamında eğitimfakülteleri müzik öğretmenliği programında verilmekte olan T.S.M. dersi öğretimelemanları ile Türk müziği konservatuvarları bünyesinde yürütülmekte olan ?T.M.S veT? adlı dersin öğretim elemanlarının Türk Müziği usûlleri öğretimine ilişkin görüşlerideğerlendirilmiştir. Araştırmanın evreni yükseköğretim kurumuna bağlı 23 EğitimFakültesi Güzel Sanatlar Eğitimi Bölümü Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı ile 8 TürkMüziği Devlet Konservatuarı olup, örneklemi ise evren içerisinden araştırmanın amacıdoğrultusunda seçilmiş yükseköğretim kurumuna bağlı 15 Eğitim Fakültesi GüzelSanatlar Eğitimi Bölümü Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı bünyesinde ?T.S.M.? adlı dersiyürüten 15 öğretim elemanı ile 7 Türk Müziği Devlet Konservatuvarı bünyesinde?T.M.S ve T? adlı dersi yürüten 15 öğretim elemanıdır. Veri toplama yöntemi olarakanket tekniği uygulanmış ve betimsel istatistiklere başvurulmuştur. Anket uygulamasısonucu elde edilen veriler SPSS 13.0 sürümlü istatistik programı ile değerlendirilmiş,ortaya çıkan bulgular yorumlanmıştır. Bulgulardan 99 sonuç elde edilmiş ve 13 önerigetirilmiştir. Sonuç ve önerilerden birer örnek verildiğinde: ?Müzik eğitimi alanıöğretim elemanlarının %46,7'si müzik bilginleri ile meşk etmiş, %46,7'si müzikbilginleri ile meşk etmemiştir? sonucuna bağlı olarak, müzik eğitimi alanı öğretimelemanlarının usûl kuramı, kavramları ve uygulamadaki yeri ve önemininanlaşılabilmesi, gelenek ile bağının kurulabilmesi, kültürel aktarımınıngerçekleştirilebilmesi için akademik çalışmaların yanı sıra alanında usta müzik bilgin,hanende ve sazendeler ile meşk etmeleri önerilir.

The aim of this study is to uncover the views and evaluations of the instructorsand lecturers teaching Turkish Classical Music (TSM) at the Faculties of Education andthe instructors and lecturers teaching the Art and History of Turkish Music (TMS&T)course at Turkish Music State Conservatories about the ways of teaching Turkish MusicUsuls (rhythmic modes).The target institutions in the study were the 23 Departments of Music Educationat the Faculties of Education and the 8 Turkish Music State Conservatories in Turkey.In line with the aim of the study only instructors and lecturers who teach TSM andTMS&T courses in these institutions were asked to participate. As a result, 15instructors and lecturers who teach the TSM course in 15 Departments of Music at theFaculties of Education and 15 instructors and lecturers who teach the TMS&T course at7 Turkish Music State Conservatories formed the informant group for the study.The data in the study were collected using questionnaires including likert scaleand open ended items. The Statistical Package for Social Sciences 13.0 (SPSS) wasused for the analysis of the collected material. In accordance with the objectives of thestudy, descriptive statistics, reliability coefficients, Mann Whitney U and t-tests werecalculated and interpreted. The study revealed 99 findings in total and from these 13propositions were drawn.The results of the study revealed important facts about the views of theinstructors and lecturers related to the appropriate ways of teaching and the level ofsignificance of the courses related to Turkish classical music taught at the Faculties ofEducation and the Turkish Music State Conservatories. These results allowed theresearcher to draw important conclusions and to put forward a number of proposals thathe believes will contribute to the more successful teaching of these courses. Just to givea single example: One of the findings of the study showed that ?46,7% of the instructorsand lecturers teaching courses related to Turkish classical music hadpracticed/performed with expert music scholars and practitioners, as opposed to 47,6%that had not? and the views of these two groups of lecturers differed significantly fromeach other. Therefore, it is proposed that in order to, first, understand the role and theimportance of classical music education, the mode theory and the concepts within thistheory better; and, second, to be able to establish the link with the traditions and toaccomplish the cultural transfer, instructors and lecturers in mode theory should notlimit themselves only to doing academic research but they should also practice withproficient/expert music scholars, practitioners and performers.
