Özet
Okuma becerisi küçük yaşlardan itibaren kazanılması gereken zihinsel bir etkinliktir. Bu becerinin geliştirilmesinde iyi hazırlanmış çocuk edebiyatı ürünleri önemli rol oynar. Çocuk romanlarının, öğrenim çağındaki çocukların gelişim özelliklerine, ilgi ve ihtiyaçlarına göre hazırlanması çocuklar için çok önemlidir. Çünkü bu eserlerle çocuklara okuma alışkanlığı kazandırılır, çocukların dil ve düşünce gelişimi sağlanır. Bunun için çocuk romanlarında kullanılan dil çok önemlidir.Çocuk kitapları, dilsel becerileri (dinleme, konuşma, okuma, yazma) kazanma konusunda çocuklara yardımcı olur. Bu yüzden çocuklara nitelikli edebi ürünler sunmak hem çocuk edebiyatıyla uğraşan yazarların ve akademisyenlerin, hem de eğitimcilerin görevidir. Bu nedenle eserlerin çocukların özelliklerine, ilgi ve ihtiyaçlarına göre hazırlanması, incelenmesi ve seçilmesi gerekmektedir. Çocuk edebiyatı üzerine yapılan araştırma ve incelemeler, çocuklar için hazırlanacak eserlerde yol gösterici olacaktır.Bu araştırmanın amacı, çocuk edebiyatı sahasında onlarca eser veren Gülten Dayıoğlu'nun çocuk romanlarında kullandığı cümle türlerini incelemek ve kullanılan cümle türlerinin çocuklara uygunluğunu değerlendirmektir.Araştırmada, Gülten Dayıoğlu'nun 14 çocuk romanının ilk, orta ve son bölümlerinin 30'ar sayfasında yer alan cümleler fişlenmiştir. Sonraki aşamada her cümle yapısına göre, anlamına göre, yüklemin yerine göre, yüklemin türüne göre incelenmiştir. Cümle türlerine ilişkin elde edilen sayısal verilerden hareketle kitapların hitap ettiği yaş grubuna uygun olup olmadıkları değerlendirilmiştir.Araştırmamıza konu olan çocuk romanlarında toplam 36306 cümle incelenmiştir. İncelenen cümle sonuçlarına göre yazarın, yapısına göre en çok basit cümleyi (%84,97); anlamına göre en çok olumlu cümleyi (%85,57); yüklemin yerine göre en çok kurallı cümleyi (%91,74); yüklemin türüne göre en çok fiil cümlesini (%87,77) kullandığı belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca bu cümle türlerinin her romanda en fazla kullanılan cümle türleri olduğu görülmüştür.Araştırmada Gülten Dayıoğlu'nun 14 romanının cümle türleri açısından hitap ettiği 10?14 yaş grubuna uygun olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.ANAHTAR SÖZCÜKLERGüten Dayıoğlu, Çocuk Edebiyatı, Çocuk Romanı, Dil, Cümle Türleri

The reading ability is a mental activity required to be gained as of early ages. Child literature products prepared well play an important role in order to improve this ability. It is very important that the child novels are prepared according to the mental development features, interests and needs of educated children. Because the children gain the reading habits with these literary works, the language and thought developments of children are provided. For this reason, the language used in child novels is very important.Child books help children to gain the linguistic skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing). Therefore, to present the qualified literary works to children is the mission of both authors who are busy with the child literature and educators and academicians. For this reason, it is necessary the literary works are prepared, chosen and observed according to the features, interests, needs of children. Researches and observations performed on child literature will be guide in literary works to prepare for children.This research?s aim is to observe sentence types Gülten Dayıoğlu, who writes many literary works on child literature, has used in child novels and is to evaluate whether the sentence types used are suitable for children or not.The sentences found in each 30 pages of the first, middle and last chapters of Gülten Dayıoğlu?s 14 child novels has been marked with numbers. In following stage, each sentence has been observed according to structure, meaning, the place and type of verb. By following the numerical data obtained regarding the sentence types, it has been assessed whether the books are suitable for the age group they call upon.36306 sentences are totally observed in child novels subjected to the research. According to the observation results, it has been determined the writer has used the basic sentence according to structure the most (84,97 %); the positive sentence according to meaning the most (85,57 %); the regular sentence according to the place of verb the most (91,74 %); the verbal sentence according to the types of verb the most (87,77 %). Also ıt has been identified that these sentence types are the sentence types used in each novels the most.As a result of this research, it has been identified that Gülten Dayıoğlu?s child novels in terms of the sentence types are appropriate for the age group they call upon.KEY WORDSGülten Dayıoğlu, Child Literature, Child Novel, Language, Types of Sentence
