Özet

Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, okuldaki şiddet ve taciz kavramlarıyla ilgili öğrenci hassasiyetini tespit etmektir. Bu çalışmaya katılanlar altı, yedi ve sekizinci sınıfa giden ve İstanbul'un çeşitli ilçelerindeki ilköğretim okullarına devam eden öğrencilerdir. Devam eden çalışmanın ana noktası bu öğrencilerin bu kavramları nasıl algıladıkları ve bu bahsi geçen kavramları nasıl kavramsallaştırdıklarıyla ilgilidir. Bu çalışmada, öğrencilerin tanım ve tariflerini dikkate alarak, negatif davranışları okulda şiddet ve taciz başlıkları altında tasnif etmeye çalıştık. Şehirleşme, okul sayısındaki artış, iletişim araçlarının yaygınlaşması gibi faktörlerse meselenin ciddiyet boyutunu açıklığa kavuşturmuştur.

Özet (Çeviri)

The basic aim of this study is to determine the sensitivity of the students' regarding the concepts of“Violence at school”and“Harassment?. The students participating in the study sixth from seventh and eighth grades are attending different elementary schools in several districts of Istanbul. The main point of the ongoing study is concerning how those students perceive those concepts and how they conceptualize the mentioned notions. In this study, we tried to classify those negative behaviors according to how the students evaluate attitudes under the headings of ”Violence at school“ and ”harassment? separately by taking students' definitions and descriptions into account. The factors such as urbanization, the increase of the number in schools, the prevalence of the communication vehicles clarified the seriousness of the matter obviously. Thanks to the presence of those reasons, the problem was finally put on the agenda of the country.
