Özet
Çağdas anlayısa göre eğitimin genel amacı; bedenen ve ruhen sağlıklı, topluma etkinsekilde uyum sağlayabilen insanlar yetistirmektir. Çocuklarımızı örgün eğitim kurumlarındahayatta karsılasabilecekleri sorunları, çözüm becerileri ile donatırken öğrenciler üzerinde çokönemli izler bırakan, onlara model olan öğretmenlerin kitleleri kucaklayacak heyecanlarını,sürdürebilmek için her zaman ruhen ve bedenen sağlıklı olmaları gerekmektedir.Personelinin beklentileri, ruhsal durumları ve mesleki tükenmislikleri konularındagereken duyarlılığı göstermeyen örgütlerin etkinliğini yitirmesi kaçınılmazdır. Tükenmeninbedeli, öğretmenler için olduğu kadar toplum için de yüksek olabilir. Öğretmenlerinperformansının düsmesi, gerek kurumun gerekse toplumun beklentileri açısından doğrugörülmemektedir. Bu nedenle, öğretmenlerin tükenme düzeyleri ve çesitli değiskenlerleiliskilerinin ortaya konması bu arastırmanın inceleme konusu olmustur.

In this paper, ?An Application The Teachers Who Burnout For Comparing TheirLevel According To Different Variables In Public High Schools And Private High Schools?who works for the public schools is analyzed. The paper consists of seven chapters, which arethe introduction and the problem; the burnout; the related literature; the basic concepts on theeducation and training; the method; the outcomes and interpretation; discussion sections andconclusion.In this paper, the criteria such as age, sex, marital status, education level, trainingperiod and the number of students they teach are taken into consideration in order to find thedifferences between the exhaustion levels of the schoolteachers. The research was conductedon 299 schoolteachers who were working for the primary schools in Bahcelievler andBagcilar, Istanbul, in 2007-2008 training season. As a means of data collection a personalinformation form and the Maslach Exhaustion Inventory which has 22 articles and three subarticleswere used. The data was analyzed by the student-t test, post hoc tukey test, kruskalwallis-h test, kruskal wallis-h test, non-parametrik mann whitney-u test and the varianceanalysis. The Fivefold Likert Type behaviour measurement was used for the research. Thedifference from the expected average is reified with the level of &=0,05.The consequences found as a result of the research are as follow: It?s proved that theaverage of the emotional burnout level of schoolteachers is low, the average of theirinsensitiveness level is normal and the average of personal success is high.It?s also proved that the emotional burnout level of the schoolteachers and theirinsensitiveness level show differences according to their age. It?s found that the emotionalexhaustion levels of schoolteachers who are between 21- 30 of age are higher than the oneswho are 51 and the above; the difference takes place also between the same groups in the caseof personal success. But in this case, the latter group is more successful than the former.
