Özet
İslam mezhepler tarihinde mezhep imamlarının üzerinde durduğu temel konulardan birisi de ?Va'd ve Vaîd? (Ödül ve Ceza) konusudur. İslam Mezhepler Tarihi'nde birçok konuda fikrî ayrılıklar yaşayan Mu'tezile mezhebi ile Ehl-i Sünnetin önemli temsilcilerinden olan Eş'ariyye mezhebi ?Va'd (Ödül) ve Vaîd (Ceza)? konularında farklı düşünceler dile getirmişlerdir.Va'd, İslâm literatüründe Hz. Allah'ın, dünyada yapmış oldukları iyi işlerden dolayı ahirette kullarına ödül vermesi, onları cennetlerine layık görmesi, üstün ve değerli kılması anlamlarını gelir.Va'îd ise, Allah'ü Teâlâ'nın azâb yapacağına söz vermesidir. Şer işler için kul-lanılır.Mu'tezile ve Eş'arîyye'de va'd ve vaîd problemi adı altında hazırlanan bu çalışmanın birinci bölümünde Mu'tezile mezhebinin tanımı, mezhebin doğuşuna etki eden faktörler, mezhebin önemli kaynakları ve önde gelen temsilcileri, mezhep imamlarının görüşleri ve yetiştikleri ortamlar hakkında bilgiler verildi. Yine bu bölümde Eş'ariyye mezhebinin tanımı, yayıldığı yerler, mezhebin önemli temsilcileri, mezhep imamlarının görüşleri, önemli kaynakları ve mezhebin temel görüşleri hakkında ayrıntılı bilgiler verildi.Çalışmanın ikinci bölümünde ise tezin ana konusunu da teşkil eden va'd, vaîd ve bunlara bağlı olarak ?büyük günah?, ?şefaat?, ?tevbe?, ?fâsık'ın cezayı haketmesi? konularında mezhep imamlarının görüşlerine yer verildi.Üzerinde çalışma yapılan konu genel olarak, kulların işlemiş oldukları günahlar sonucunda dinen hangi statüde algılandıkları, bu günahların bağışlanabilirlikleri, günahların imana etkisi, cennet ve cehennemin ebedîliği ve azabın süresi gibi meseleleri içermektedir. Yine şefaatin varlığı, kimlerin şefaat edeceği ve kimlere şefaat edileceği gibi hususları da kapsamaktadır.

In the history of Islamic Madhhabs, two of the principal subjects, which are considered by the Imams of Madhhab, are the terms ?promise?(Va?d) and ?punishment?(Vaîd). The Mu?tazila Madhhab which has some dissidences in the history of Islamic Madhhabs and The Esh?ariyye Madhhab which is one of the most important representatives of Ahl as-Sunnah present also different opinions about these terms.In Islamic literature, the term ?promise? is referred to that God rewards him servants, who are the doers of good in the life of this world, he also rewards of the life to come.The term ?punishment? refers to that God is severe in punishment. It is used for bad things.The first part of this study, which is based on the promise and punishment problem according to the Mu?tazila and the Esh?ariyye Madhhab, consists of these topics: the definition of the Mu?tazila Madhhab, the factors that affect of founding the madhhab, the essential sources of the madhhab and its experts, opinions of Madhhab Imams, and information about their school environment. This section also includes the definition of The Esh?ariyye Madhhab, information about the places of its development, the experts of the madhhab, thoughts of the madhhab imams, its important sources and basic ideas in detail.In the section two, presented the ideas of madhhab founders about the main subjects of this thesis, ?promise? and ?punishment?, and the other subjects, related to them, ?great sin?, ?intercession?, ?repetance?, ?to deserve of sinner of punishment?.In general, this study contains the issues about the judgement of the servants according to position of their sins, capable of being forgiven (venial) of these sins, the effects of the sinfuls to faith, the etternity in the heaven and the hell, and the period of punishment. Also the study covers the topics: intercession, and someone who can play the act of interceding with someone.
