Özet
1980 Sonrası Atatürk Imgesinin Yeniden Üretimi? konulu bu çalısma;Atatürk anıtları, 1980-1998 döneminde siyasal-mekansal dinamiklerinçevreledigi ortam içinde nasıl bir degisim geçirmistir? sorusunaodaklanmaktadır. Çalısmanın birinci bölümünde, siyasal-mekansal ile anıtarasındaki iliskinin çözümlenmesine yönelik araçsallastırma kavramıüzerinden gelistirilen ve dört temel ögeyi içeren bir çözümleme çerçevesiolusturulmustur. Bu çerçeve; hatırla(t)ma-bellek, imge-simge, görsellesmegöstergeve kültlestirme ögeleri olarak sınıflandırılmıstır. Çalısmanınarastırma sorusunun çözümlenmesine yönelik tarihsel birikimdenyararlanılmıstır. Bunun yanı sıra, alanın teknik bilgisinin üretilebilmesi içinkarma bir estetik ölçüt gelistirilmistir. Atatürk anıtlarının konusunu olusturanolgusal çesitliligin 1980-1998 döneminde çözümleme çerçevemiz içinde açıgaçıkan sonuçları bes baslık altında toplanabilir. Birincisi; bu tarihten itibarenAtatürk anıtlarında belirgin bir tek tiplesme görülmektedir. Ikincisi; anıtlardageçmis birikime göre kültlesme ögesinin yogunluk derecesi artmıstır.Üçüncüsü; anıtlar agırlıklı olarak çogaltma yöntemiyle üretilmektedir.Dördüncüsü; Atatürk imgesindeki degisimin göstergeleri anıtlar üzerindenokunabilmektedir. Besincisi; anıtların, toplumsal kırılma noktalarında bir türrefleks olarak araçsallastırıldıgıdır.

The study, reproduction of the post-1980 Atatürk image, focuses on theproblem of the nature of the Atatürk monuments? transformation between1980-1998 vis-à-vis the climate shaped by political-spatial dynamics of thetime. The first chapter of the study deals with the framework of the analysis,which includes four essential elements and is developed based on the notionof instrumentalization. The notion instrumentalization here is meant to analyzethe relation between the concepts ?political-spatial? and the monument. Theframework is based upon elements of recall-memory, image-symbol, visualitydisplayand cultification. Historical processes and background is also appliedthroughout the study to shed light onto the main problem. Moreover, a hybridaesthetic criterion is built up in order to reproduce technical information of thefield. Thus the study infers five outcomes of the analysis of factual variation ofAtatürk monuments? themes in the course of the abovementioned period.First, all monuments of this period are evidently monotypes; second,monuments have come to be created under massive influence of cultsregarding Atatürk and his epoch; third, monuments of the period are in fact amyriad of duplications of an original one; fourth, the signs of transformation ofAtatürk image can be read through those monuments; fifth and the last, thosemonuments are instrumentalized as a sort of reflex surfacing at societalruptures.
