ÖZET ÜRETİM HATTININ DENGELENMESİ VE SANAYİDE AKIŞ TİPİ BîR SİSTEM İÇİN UYGULANMASI Tez Yöneticisi: Prof. Dr. Hüseyin özgen Hazırlayan : Suhat KORKMAZ ÇUKUROVA ÜNİVERSİTESİ Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsü isletme Anâbilim Dalı, Master Tezi Bu çalışmanın amacı ;Montaj hattı dengelenmesi konusunda geliştirilen yöntemlerin çok aşamalı, akış tipi bir üretim sisteminde üretim hattının dengelenmesi için. uygulanabilir olup olmadığını araştırmak ve bu konuda bir yaklaşım oluşturabilmektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda önce çok sayıda kaynak taraması yapılarak Montaj Hattı Dengelenmesi terminoloji ve tarihsel gelişim \ H açısından incelenmiş. geliştirilen yöntemler benzer ve farklı k noktaları dikkate alınarak gruplandırı İmiş ve bu gruplardan -vı-farklılık arzeden yöntemlerin detaylı açıklaması ve değerlendirilmesi yapılmıştır. Daha sonra ham demir cevherinden çelik ürünlerin elde edildiği akış tipi bir üretim sistemine sahip olan iskenderun Demir ve Çelik Entegre işletmeleri (ISDEMîR) uygulama sahası olarak seçilmiş ve bu işletmede hammadde girdilerinden çelik ürünlerin eldesine kadar geçen süreç araştırma değişkenlerine göre incelenerek mevcut yapıya montaj hattı dengelenmesi hususunda geliştirilen yaklaşımlardan daha önce izahatı yapılanların uygulanabilirliği araştırılmış ve araştırma sonuçları değerlendirilerek isdemir'in şartlarına cevap verebilecek yeni bir yaklaşım geliştirilmeye çalışılmıştır..r -V11-

ABSTRACT ASSEMBLY LINE BALANCING AND ITS APPLICATION FOR A FLOW TYPE SYSTEM IN INDUSTRY Supervisor : Prof. Dr. Hüseyin özgen By : Suhat KORKMAZ ÇUKUROVA UNIVERSITY Institute Of Social Sciences A Department Of Business, M.S. Thesis The objective of this study is two fold;first, to investigate the applicability of the rnethods developed for assembly line balanciny to a multi level. flow type production system for production line balancing and second, to make a suggestion on this subject. f In order» to reach these objectives, first of all assembly line balancing, its terminology and the methods developed on this -Vlll-subject were summerized then the period from the raw material to final steel production in iSDEMiR were investigated according to production variables and the applicability of assembly line balancing methods to iSDEMiR were examined, final ly the result of the examinations were evaluated and it is tried to find a new suggestion applicable to the present stuations. The study was organized in the following order: Chapter I includes the frame, scope, statement of ten objectives restrictions to the study, organization of the study and methodology used. In Chapter II the history of ' Assemly line Balancing ' was reviewed and previous studies on this subject were summerized. Chapter III includes the definition of the assemly line terms and also in this chapter assembly line Balancing techniques were grouped according to their approaches to the subject then the most widely used techniques from these groups were explained and evaluated. Chapter IV deals with iSDEMiR ana the factors necessary for assemly line balancing. Also in Chapter IV the applicability of the widely used balancing techniques to iSDEMiR were examined. In Chapter V results of the applications were evaluated and some recommendations were made for flow- type production systems. Finally in Chapter VI general evaluations and conclutions were drawn. -IX-
