Özet
Bu çalışmada otomotiv sektöründe faaliyet gösteren bir firmada, ISO 14001 Çevre Yönetim Sistemi çalışmaları ve bu sistem gerekliliklerinin Kalite Yönetim Sistemi ile entegre edilmesi anlatılmaktadır.Firma, Entegre Yönetim Sistemi ile sürekli gelişimi sağlamayı öncelikli stratejileri arasında belirlemiş ve bu kapsamda ISO 9001:2000 Kalite, ISO 14001 Çevre Yönetim Sistemleri ile Entegre Yönetim Sistemi oluşturmayı hedeflemiştirBu kapsamda ISO 14001 Projesi, proje planının hazırlanması ile başlatılmıştır. Operasyonun çevresel boyutlarının incelenmesi ile yapılacak aksiyonlara yönelik ön bütçe belirlenmiştir. Oluşturulan proje ekibi liderliğinde yasal mevzuatlar kapsamında sistem çalışmaları yürütülmüştür. Sistem ile ilgili dokümantasyon yapısı oluşturulmuş ve ortak konular Kalite Yönetim Sistemi ile entegre edilmiştir. Kurulan sistem, yapılan iç denetimlerin ardından, bağımsız bir dış denetim firması tarafından belgelendirilmiştir.Kurulan yönetim sistemi ile firma bünyesinde proaktif çevre kültürü oluşturulmaya başlanmıştır. Çevresel unsurların değerlendirilmesi, atıkların uygun yöntemlerle bertarafı ve hazırlanan dokümantasyon ile tüm tesislerde çevre standartları belirlenmiştir. Öngörülen çevre unsurlarının kontrol yöntemleri Üst Yönetimin gerekli kaynağı sağlaması ile başarıyla uygulanmıştır. İzleme ve ölçüm faaliyetlerinin işletilmesi, düzeltici ve önleyici faaliyetler, iletişim ve sürekli eğitimler ile kurulan sistem sürekliliği sağlanmaktadır.

In this work, automotive company?s ISO 14001 Environmental Management System workings and the integration of the needs of the system with Quality Management System are presented.The company determined continuous development strategy by the help of Integrated Management System. In this scope the company aimed to develop Integrated Management System by ISO 9001:2000 Quality, ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.ISO 14001 Project get started with a project plan. With the investigation of the operational environmental aspects the pre-budget is determined. Project team lead the studies with the scope of the legal requirements. Documentation structure is formed and integrated with Quality Management System. The formed system is controlled by the internal audits and documented by an independent external body including all the plants.With the documented system a proactive environmental culture formed in the company. Environmental standards are determined with the evaluation of the environmental aspects, elimination of the waste with suitable methods and the documented procedures in all plants. The control methods are successfully applied with the needed source of the Top Management. System continuity is provided by the performance measurement and monitoring, corrective and preventive actions, communication and continuous training.
