Özet
Eğitim ve Öğretim faaliyetlerinin genel amacı toplumları çağdaş medeniyetlerseviyesine taşıyacak nitelikte gerekli bilgi ve donanıma sahip bireyler yetiştirmektir.Bir ulusun geleceği olarak düşünülen gençlerin ülke kaynaklarını sadecekullanan değil aynı zamanda üreten bir nesil olarak yetişmelerini sağlamak amacıylaöğrencilerin başarıları dolayısıyla da başarılarını etkileyen bütün faktörler eğitimçalışmalarının özünü oluşturmaktadır.Öğrencilerin başarılarını etkileyen faktörler genel olarak öğrenciye bağlıözellikler, çevresel faktörler ve eğitimciye bağlı faktörler olarak gruplanabilmektedir.Bu faktörlerin her öğrenci başarısı üzerinde farklı etkiler göstermesi sebebiylebunları göz ardı etmeyen bir ölçme ve değerlendirme sisteminin önemi ortayaçıkmaktadır.Tez; Ölçme ve değerlendirme , ölçme ve değerlendirmenin eğitimdeki yeri,değerlendirme sistemleri, öğrenci başarılarını etkileyen faktörlerin analizindekullanılan istatiksel yöntemler ve uygulamasından oluşmaktadır.

General purpose of education services are to raise individuals who have theability to use his or her knowledge in the right position.Young generation is accepted to be the most precious source of a country. Inorder to use this most precious source efficient. All of the factors that influenceyoung generation?s success is accepted to be the educational activities? essence.The factors that influence students success can be divided to three generalsubject. The first one is demographic properties, the second one is environmentalproperties and the last one is teacher related properties. All of these factors havedifferent influences in the students success this makes a stand alone measuring andrating quite useful and critic.This thesis consist of statistical methods that is being used and practisedduring the analysis of measuring and rating systems in the educational services.
