Özet

Kemal Tahir, üzerine çok söz söylenen, çok yazı yazılan romancı ve düşünürlerin başında gelmektedir. Tahir eserlerinde sıklıkla toplumsal içerikli konuları işleyerek, Türk insanının ve toplumunun sorunlarına çözüm üretmeye çalışmıştır. Tahir, bu sorunları, genellikle toplumsal yapı, Osmanlı, Tarihe yönelme, Batılılaşma, Köy Enstitüleri, Sosyalizm, Doğu-Batı Farklılaşmaları gibi konuları ele alarak, eserlerinde işlemeye çalışmıştır. Tahir Türk toplumun sorunlarının kaynağının ve çözüm önerilerinin Türk tarihinde yattığını vurgulayan bir düşün adamıdır. Yazar, bu amaçla sürekli olarak Osmanlı-Türk tarihine eğilmiştir. Tahir, tarih, konusuna Türk toplumunun içinde bulunduğu sorunların çözümlerinin yine Türk toplumunun tarihinde gizli olması sebebiyle eğilmiştir. Tahir, Türk toplumun içinde bulunduğu sorunlara, Türk tarihinden hareketle çözüm önerileri üretme çabasındadır. Tahir'in hareket noktası, Türk toplumunun ve insanının somut gerçeklikleridir. Tahir'in Batılılaşma konusu üzerinde durma sebebi ise, Türk toplumun kendine has özelliklerinin olması, hiçbir topluma benzememesi, özellikle Batı toplumlarına hiç benzememesidir. Türk toplumun tarihsel gelişme çizgisi, sosyal, siyasal, kültürel ve iktisadi yapısı Batı toplumlarından oldukça farklıdır. Bu nedenle Batılılaşma düşüncesi çerçevesinde çözüm aramanın büyük bir hata olduğunu vurgulamasıdır. Tahir, Osmanlı konusu üzerinde de durmuştur. Tahir, Türk toplumunu açıklamak ve Türk toplumun temel toplumsal sorunlarına çözüm bulabilmek için, deyim yerindeyse, Türk toplumunun çocukluk dönemine/Osmanlıya yönelmektedir. Çünkü bugün Türk toplumun içinde bulunduğu sorunların kaynağı ve çözüm önerileri Osmanlıda yatmaktadır. Bugün, kabul edilsin ya da edilmesin Türkiye Cumhuriyetinin varlık nedeni Osmanlıdır. Tahir'in Doğu-Batı farklılaşması konusunu ele almadaki amacı ise, Batı toplumları ile Doğu toplumlarının birbirlerinden farklı olduğunu, bu nedenle benzer yaklaşımla açıklanamayacağını vurgulamaktadır. Tahir sosyalizm konusuna eğilerek, Türk toplumunun içinde bulunduğu sorunlara sosyalizm çerçevesinde çözüm aramaktadır. Tahir bunu da yerli bir sosyalizm çerçevesinde yapmaya çalışmaktadır. 5 Yazar yerli sosyalizm kavramı ile Batı'dan aktarılmış hazır kalıp sosyalizm yerine Türk toplumuna uyarlanmış, sorunlara çözüm üretecek ifade etmektedir. Çalışmada Tahir'in Köy Enstitülerine olan bakış açılarına da yer verilmiştir. Tahir Köy Enstitülerini Batı'dan alınmış hazır kalıp olması, köylüyü köye hapsetme ve tek parti ideolojisini yayma amacı güdülmesi sebebiyle eleştirmektedir. İşte Kemal Tahir'in bütün bu konuları ele alma sebebi sorumlu bir düşünür tavrı ile hareket etmesi ve sorunlara çözüm üretmesidir.

Kemal Tahir is one of the leading novelist and thinker whom there are lots of things written and said about. Tahir tried to solve the problems of Turkish society by the means of working on the social matters in his works. In his works, Tahir worked on these problem dealing with the subjects of social frame, Ottoman, Tending to history, Westernization, Formerly Teacher Training Institute, Socialism and Dissimilarities of East-West. Tahir is a thinker who emphasizes the origin of the problems of Turkish Society and solutions to the problem which exist in the Turkish history. Because of this, the writer usually worked on Ottoman- Turk history. Tahir worked on history because he thought that the solutions of the problems of Turkish society were hidden in the history of Turkish society. Tahir wanted to solve the problems that Turkish society has by the means of Turkish history. The point of view of Tahir was the concrete reality of Turkish society. The reason that Tahir worked on Westernization was that Turkish society?s having special features and not resembling to any society especially western societies. The historical development, social, political, culrural, economical structure of Turkish society is quite different from western societies. Because of this he emphasized that trying to find solutions around the idea of westernization was a big mistake. Tahir also dewelled upon the subject of Ottoman history. Tahir tend to Ottoman which is the childish of Turkish society in order to introduce the Turkish society and to find solutions of main social problems of the society. Because the source of the the problems which the Turkish society has and the solutional suggestions are in the Ottoman history. Today the reason of existence of Turkish Republic is Ottoman Empire neither it ws accepted or not. The aim of Tahir?s workings on the subject of the dissimilarity of East-West in was to emphasize that western societies and eastern societies are different from each other. So it is not possible to explain this with similar approach. Tahir tried to find solutions to the problems of Turkish society around the socialism by the help of working on socialism. Tahir tried to do this by the means of domestic socialism. The witer tried to express that he would find solutions to the problems by the means of 7 socialism that was adapted to Turkish society instead of the socialism that was taken from West directly. In this work the point of view of Tahir about Formerly Teacher Training Institute was also mentioned. Tahir criticized the formerly teacher training institutes because he thought that these institutes were taken from the West directly and they aimed to lock in the villagers to the villages and to spread the ideology of unique party. The reason of Kemal Tahir?s working on these subjects is to find soutions to the problems and acting with the manner of a responsible thinker.
