In this thesis, I studied on mwpimmipifi the suflstic importance of Mefâtihu'1-Gayb that is Razfs known tafsir. In the first and two chapter. I talked about Razfs life story and relationship between tafsir and sufism that these are interested with the subject. I tried in the third and forth chapters to show Razfs opinions on the subjects which are included in suflstic tafsir and to prove from which verses Razî extracted evidence of suflstic meanings (işarât). I systimazed these findings. Razî talked about nearly most of suflstic matters and accepted them without any critics. There are a lot of verses that he has mantioned as evidences that is, he talked about the matters as if he is an suflstic interpreter. By the way, Razî used sayings, stories and even dreams of Muslim Mystics as evidences. He talked about them with /a/ great respect. I studied all these with much exampels in my thesis. I also foud that Razî had used a lot of hadiths (saying of the Prophath) in his tafsir. Most of these hadiths are of sufles hadi ths and having some suspicion on their correctness. On the other hand, Razî, donn't use much hadith in other books. Briefly Razfs tafsir, that is Mefatihu'1-Gayb, also has an important place in suflstic Tafsir, and in many respect YSJkseteğrsîim Kwultt Dokümantasyon' Mmkml
